Not a week after Deej talks to the DestinyPublicEvents guy... The very next time I try to use the site to track down public events... 6 complete misses in a row.
-
Its not accurate in the 1st place, except maybe the devil walker.
-
i believe that destinypublicevents is like a wiki tracker. anyone can like an event if it 'happened in the last minute' so it could be human error. i've noticed its been off for me as well. i never go to the steppes event on earth. no point.

3 RepliesThere is an iOS app called destiny trackers that I have had an immense amount if luck with. It's been wrong maybe 5 out of the probably 30 or so tines I've used it. Maybe give that a try.

If you're alone events occur way less frequently. Also the color indicators for the events show the likelihood of them occurring. The site has only been truly wrong for me once or twice, the other times I attribute the lack of events to the two parameters I mentioned

I find that events spawn up to -6 minutes. I tend to do the Venus ones. Prefer Venus "Prevent Vex Sacrifices", much more interesting than any Earth/Mars/Moon event and gives a decent amount of glimmer.

Planet Destiny tracker is pretty accurate too
-
I've never found it to be that accurate. It still doesn't have the servitor on the moon listed.
-
Go to Earth. Those are still pretty well accurate. The Fallen Walker spawns around a quarter after, a warsat will spawn in the area where the rusted planes are, and then another walker will spawn around the quarter to mark. Every other planet/moon seems to have lost its timing, though.

I actually noticed that too on Tuesday! Went to 5 of them... No event. Waste of my time for sure.

8 RepliesWhy doesn't bungie just tell u when the public events are coming why the secret? I hate waiting around wasting play time to hopefully get a public event. I mean give u a 5min timer or somethin letting u no it's gunna come isn't the point to bring people together?

DPE has never been guaranteed to be exactly accurate, it says so right in the site. Furthermore, Public Events are intended to be random encounters, so be thankful there's someone out there in the community who was willing to put in the work to work out a schedule for them.

Just used it 2 hours ago. 3 events spawned within 2 mins of the time it said on the site. You have bad luck. Remember that the more people there are in an area, the more likely it is that the event will spawn.
