No upgrades yet, so I'll hold off on final conclusions... But I hate TLW compared to my Hawkmoon.

I have hawkmoon also. Love it man! Range and impact once upgraded are insane. II just picked up TLW tho. Different type of cannon - the ROF is insane and above all else, it's soooooo bad ass!!!! Hawkmoon for raids, TLW for fun and PVP :D

Hawkmoon to me is one of the best overall weapons in the game...i don't have the TLW but i do have Thorn. i may hold my coins for next week.

Seems like a waste of an opportunity. Coins are cheap and replenish easily, while it might be a number of months before we see TLW from Xur again. HC user here, and I'm really happy I picked up TLW. It's SUPER fun after unlocking both unique perks, even if it's no threat to replace my DYK for day-to-day use. And the spray is actually pretty effective against ultras and bosses if you're in close range, that thing can pour the rounds in.

Doubt hawkmoon will be available from Xur. Or Monte Carlo for that matter
