I was a big role player back then. Kotor was just such a good star wars story and you got to be a cool jedi. Fallout 3 I picked up on late but I was completely hooked by the atmosphere of the game. Skyrim was beautiful and fun. Mass effect was awesome scifi role playing and fps.

Shining Force. Good memories. Was probably my first RPG. Managed to beat it two times. So far, anything from Bioware. Mass Effect trilogy, Dragon Age, KOTOR 1 & 2, and Jade Empire are the ones I've played. Elder Scrolls 4 & 5. I'm sure there are more.

It's a tie between dark souls and skyrim. Dark Souls has a great hidden story, lore, combat system and music. Overall making it a really jaw dropping game. But skyrim has WAY more content and replayablity to keep you satisfied for days, months, even years! Not to mention modding on pc.

Currently playing Dragon Age Inquisition, have thought about getting into Diablo as well, but there are other games in the near future id rather grab at this point

Anyone played D&D on the Megadrive/Genesis? Not sure if there were more than one but it was a fun game.

Diablo 3 - Having a lot fun with some friends, we would like to get into WoW… but with the game we're working on, not enough time. Fallout 3/New Vegas - I have the most badass female mercenary. Git jelly Skyrim - I'm only a level 33 Imperial, but I had an amazing time

4 RepliesI must admit i am a little lost as to what exactly is classified as an RPG. Technically in every game you are role playing as something, whether it be a marble completing puzzles, or golfer in a tournament, or a knight killing a dragon, you are always role playing as something/someone. I suppose maybe a Kinect game that is you doing stuff on the screen might not be role playing. I am just unsure of how to classify games to answer this question. I want to say basically the whole fire emblem series but i am not sure if that counts. I know that the fallout and elder scrolls series counts which are also some of my favourites, and the borderlands series as well.
