There is a difference between pronouncing "men" and "min." The "e" in "men" makes the ĕ sound, whereas the "i" in "min" makes the ĭ sound. If you do not believe me, then I would recommend that you take a look at the dusty dictionary on your bookshelf.
Thank you for the sentiment. I highly doubt that mispronouncing a couple of words would be of any help to my college education.
Sure if you want to get technical they should make a different sound but when it's all said and done. No one says them differently. Stop trying to be all high and mighty because it's just making you look like your parents... Mentally challenged.
good day Tard.
I guess I'm no one along with the many other individuals that disagree with you. I'm not being "all high and mighty." I'm simply challenging your argument that anyone who pronounces those sounds differently than you is mentally deficient. I simply used some evidence to support my argument and to lead to the argument that you, and whoever else you are speaking for, are pronouncing it incorrectly according to an English Dictionary. I do understand that they may be pronounced the same depending on the accent, but it does not justify an individual to insult those who do not possess the same accent.

Depending on accent? Now I know you really are mentally challenged. If I ever meet you I will personally biitch slap you across the face with a dictionary.
