I don't know if it's just me but I find it bull that I use a xbl gold trial and I still can't play Destiny to the fullest extent bc I'm still considered a silver acc. I don't know if it's Bungie or Microsoft that is causing it but it's bulls#!+

3 RepliesIt's a ms thing, any gold "trial" clearly states in the small print that some services may not be available. Which reads most mp games won't allow you to play. It works the same for those "gold free weekends" also. Stupid yeah, some games let you roll mp with trials, most won't. Don't rely on 2 day-1week trials to keep you going, they aren't meant for you to play play per se, they are just meant to give you a taste of all the craps on the dashboard, it was more so when you needed live for everything (YouTube,Netflix,Skype etc etc) but now that they removed the paywall for most apps they definately don't care if some games won't allow you to mp on a trial 😵

It's Microsoft if you wanna play a good game they want you to pay to play not cheat your way around it

3 RepliesEdited by MightyJonE: 11/16/2014 2:02:45 AMNo, you can't use Microsoft gold trials for matchmaking in destiny. Oddly, destiny on PS4 (and maybe PS3) has 1 month's free trial for PSN, so I guess you can use PSN free trials for matchmaking on playstation

3 RepliesThat is weird, cause I had a Gold Trial at launch and it worked just fine. I have no idea what to suggest for that, but I can confirm that it should be working. Maybe try contacting xbox support?
