Destiny PS3/PS4 question about digital upgrade
I bought the hard copy of the game with the expansion included for PS4 before I found out about the digital next gen upgrade. I had already opened and been playing the game when I found out. I had attempted to found out if the same worked in reverse but it seemed that that was not the case. Now it seems that the expansion packs will only work with my PS4 once they are released. I have spent over $160 now just to play the game (for PS4 collectors version as well as the digital PS3 version), will I also now have to spend more to play the expansion packs on my PS3 as well as my PS4?? Please help me figure this out Bungie!!

The digital upgrade program is a limited time offer to upgrade from the older generation systems to the newer. If you already have Destiny for the newer generation system, yes, you will have to purchase content again if you want it for the older generation.

So when you buy a new ps4 and you already have destiny on ps3, you'll get destiny free on your ps4? And also the expansion pass when you bought it on ps3?
