Help to Define a Multi Kill for my obviously too incompetent brain.
I want to start off by apologizing in advance for my crude grammar and spelling. I am so -blam!-ing mad right now i could literally break this laptop in half.
So I have a flipping crucible bounty, i am sure you are all familiar with, called That's How I Roll.The objective is to freaking earn 5 multikill medals in the crappy excuse for a multiplayer we call the freaking crucible.
I am under the impression that a mulitkill medal is when you get a medal like "machine lord" "master blaster" etc... but apparently I am wrong as I have earned [u][b]no less[/b] [/u]than god forsaken 8 machine lord medals since, and have yet to complete this piece of shit, horrible wretched excuse for an objective.
So -blam!-ing enlighten me please. What is defined as a multikill medal? Am I insane? Is this not how this works? Is this game just so -blam!-ed up it's not counting it? I could -blam!-ing scream right now!!!!!

Edited by Burly: 12/31/2018 12:18:09 PMIt's buggy as heck. I tried killing alone and with people and its random. I'm having a hard time they want 100 multikills. I have over 500 kills now with just 47 multikills. That means I'm looking at 1000 kills. Killing solo works the best. You have to kill 2 or more solo fast.

What ninjadave3 said is mostly true. I think it may actually be glitched. I have a bounty that says that I have to get one triple kill. I have gone 13 Multikills with my Shadowshot, probably 10 or so with my Thunderlord machine gun and definitely over 15 with my Monte Carlo, so I just don't know what's going on.

double kills, triple kills,,,, any quick consecutive kills around with 2-3 seconds of one another...

Double down, triple down etc. Play control and super/rocket launcher capture points.

Get merciless medals, not that hard.

It's for killing multiple people at once. In crucible, it's double down, triple down, etc

1 ReplyI couldn't help at laugh hysterically at this. I don't know, it's kinda like when you see someone get hit in the head with a basketball. Dude, you never get double kills? Even with a machine gun your chances of getting a multi-kill are phenomenal.

1 ReplyJust be a void walker or striker class. Play control. When you see most the other team defending a spot. Blast em with dat super. Presto....you now have a multi kill medal.

I think the machine lord kills you mentioned is for skill streaks instead of for multi-kills. Multi kills are when you kill 2+ people within 1-2 seconds of each other. I think the double kill medal is called double down and the triple kill medal is called triple down (not sure what the ones for 4 or more people are called).

Edited by Zatriarch: 11/13/2014 2:11:37 AMMachine Lord and Master Blaster are kill streak medals. They're awarded when you get kills with the same weapon, without switching. Reason it's easy to think of them as multi-kill medals is because normally, if you're quick enough to down 3 enemies in a matter of seconds, you won't be switching weapons: so you'll get machine lord AND triple kill (true multi-kill). Thing is though, as long as you're using one specific weapon, the kills can be a whole minute apart and you'll still get master blaster, but no triple kill. True MULTI-kills are when you get multiple kills all within a few seconds. Kill, 2 seconds later, kill, etc. Doesnt matter if you switch weapons in the middle either. There's double kills, triple kills, and kills for other numbers I can't remember.

Effing wow, of course it is wtf is wrong with me. So even if I would have tried for a Double Down Medal, I would've gotten it. The pressure is getting to me. I should never play the crucible again.
