Does Praedyth's Timepiece even exist?
First of all, this isn't a complaint thread about raid loot. I really asking if this gun even exists because I have yet to see one.
I've been doing the hard raid every week on all 3 characters and haven't seen a single praedyths timepiece. I'm not even saying I haven't personally gotten one, but I haven't seen other fireteam members get one either in the last 20 raids nor have I ever inspected a player that has one.
So if you have one or have seen one, is it any good? How does it compare to other pulse rifles? Any general comments?

I have been lucky enough to find every raid weapon so far. The Timepiece is the best pulse rifle in game in my opinion. It's not better than Fatebringer for PvE, but if you like Pulse Rifles it has a nice fire rate and good perk for increasing precision damage and firing a 4th shot from the burst. I mess with it sometimes in the crucible. Praetorian Foil is a rare and nice weapon to upgrade fully as well. If your team sometimes has difficulty downing the oracles during the Atheon stage, simply shoot an oracle once with Praetorian Foil; problem solved.

Yeah I've gotten one. It ain't worth the rarity of the drop though, when it comes to the 2 arc primaries in the raid,the Fatebringer shits on the timepiece all day long.

Yep, same as Wickkidd said. Only ever seen it on Gatekeeper drop on Hard Mode which one guy got.

It does exist, yes. Its not necessarily a great weapon. Although it made this weeks nightfall very fun.... As well as the Fatebringer...

I got it on tuesday on my 1st hard mode run. it's just OK, very stable. It sure made the Nightfall a cakewalk this week.

I have it, and I main it so that I can continue to use Pocket Infinity (PvP) and Gjallarhorn (PvE). It is one of my favorite weapons to use and that's saying something if any weapon can pull me away from hand cannons.

I have it, seems to be a rare drop. You aren't missing much though.... Rate of fire is cool, shoots bursts quickly (MUCH quicker than the red death)

It's a super rare hard mode drop but it's worth it for sure. Timepiece is imo one of the finest raid drops you can get

1 ReplyHave both foil and time piece. Foil makes preatorians melt. Timepiece is ok... as in as rare as it is ot mau as well be a factuon vendor item.. bungie failed hard on these weapons

My first drop on hard raid about a month back. Dusted it off for the nightfall this week...i have it fully upgraded and still doesn't impress me. Its back in my vault collecting more dust. Weakest raid weapon imo

Yup it does. Seen it drop once, and it was for me. I got it at the Gatekeeper on Hard. Also got Fatebringer at Templar, and Raid Helmet at Atheon on same raid. Previously I've gotten Praetorian Foil ( Saw someone else ask this ) at either Oracles or Templar on Hard Mode, can't recall exactly. This dropped for myself and another guy in my team. Last night 3 of us got Fatebringer at the same time. Try running Hard without doing normal, seems to increase chance ( I have not seen double drops as I'm led to believe Hard before normal does ). I have every raid weapon except Corrective Measure, Hezens Vengeance and Found Verdict. This includes duplicate Vex Mytho's, Epulogues etc. Lucky with weapons, but can't for the life of me get a Raid chest piece!

Lots of people here with one. I received it last week at gatekeeper and it was the main gun I wanted. Luck actually happened! Its a PvP monster but I'll stop using it in PvE once its fully upgraded. I am waiting for the chest piece and fate bringer still...
