I just got around to watching a YouTube video about this week's strike. Apparently I've been going about this strike all wrong! Looks pretty straightforward and relatively easy when done right. I will probably practice it once on a lower level and then run through Heroic & Nightfall tonight. My buddy and I both rage quit last night after getting worked when that wave of snipers comes out towards the end of it. So frustrating. Won't make that mistake again! Thanks, Internet!
Edit: thanks all! Feedback is great & helpful. I have Patience & Time and The Swarm. Should be in good shape now that I know that there is a good strategy that doesn't include running around like a buffoon.

2 guns... thunder lord and fatebringer... game over lol

Nightfall is definitely the easiest we've had, took my 26 titan through it with ease.

I soloed the heroic without too many problems. Once I got to the Archon Priest, I just hid under that deck and sniped him with my icebreaker. The only part that gave me any problems was the waves of Vex. I wouldn't recommend staying by that door that your ghost is trying open. I was eventually overrun by Minotaurs the two times I tried that. Then I ran up to the right on that ridge and fought them from there. They seemed to mostly leave me alone up there.

Lol my friends and I all had Arc rockets so we stood on top of the rock and killed him in less than a minute unfortunately, the weekly heroic doesn't have Arc burn, so we hid under the landing pad and "broke the ice" all day

I didn't find it too hard I chill on the first ledge and solo it with an ice breaker. Just takes patience and time. Not the gun XD no but the p&t's not bad. After buying it I got it in a normal raid again today.

1 ReplyWhat was the strategy you learned

1 ReplyThe nightfall was a walk in the park with T&P. The weekly however is a pita -there were two of us, I was carrying a buddy with his secondary character (level 25). We finaly decided to ask for help at Archon, though getting there was easy enough.

Really easy
-
The Easiest strikes are winters run and the summoning pits

1 ReplyEdited by dissko: 11/13/2014 12:51:54 AMOddly the nightfall is easier then the weekly because of the burn modifier...then again i had fatebring p&t. And zombie apocalypse.

Just completed and received hard light!

1 ReplyThe priest is the easiest strike next to Sepiks which is laughably easy. As long as you know what you are doing and you utilize the Burn of the week you will be able to solo it with ease.
-
11 RepliesI actually told my friend to not join me because its easier alone, lol

Edited by Eluminary: 11/12/2014 7:44:33 PMI did the cliff thing on 2 chas then i thought hmm arc burn I have a zombie apoc arc hmm lets try it. It stun loced the guy and he evaporated pretty quickly. when youur on the cliff he hides in the same spot I just jumped down and shot him before to many adds spawned, No angry mod so he couldn't even fight back.

2 different cheesing spots. easy peasy, trigger squeezy!
-
The mission is VERY easy. It is just slightly annoying sometimes!
-
Using plan c and I solo the whole thing. Apart from having to use vision of confluence to destroy the skanks flying around like assholes
-
changed my tactic up a little last night and was able to get coins for all my characters :P
-
9 RepliesI soloed it in 13 minutes, although all I got was 7 ascendant energy
-
I jumped on the cliff to the left before you drop down and fight him and snipped him from there.
-
3 RepliesThe hardest part of this strike is clearing out the snipers while a bunch of dregs and sharks are wandering around right before the Priest. When you get to him, go under the deck, take out P&T and have a couple special ammo synthesis ready and done.
-
1 ReplyProbably the easiest strike to solo in my opinion. That said I havn't done the nightfall yet because I need a damn ARC sniper. I knew I should have bought patient and time... *sigh* now grinding up for the vanguard sniper before I take it on.
-
Just go under the helipad thing toward the back left. You can solo it no problem in there with a arc sniper.

That's not what the Queen said...
