What is with the 30 elitism?
I run the raid over and over on 3 characters on each, Yet I am still to get the raid drops I need to make one lv30
I do not understand why a level 30 thinks they are a better player, they were just luckier than others. Whenever I run the raid with 30's they die more than me and are arrogant to say the least.
Being 30 doesn't mean you are better, give the guys that don't get lucky with the RnG a chance, there are many like me that would be an asset to most fire teams.

1 Replyill admit some people are pretty full of themselves and these people are the ones that choose not to listen to others in the raid even though they keep dieing 15 times in a row.

I think all it is. Is that lvl 29 is a grind till you get the loot. At 30 you get invites all day so you can be picky and not have to run raids with 4-5 29's. Just makes it faster. I still help with hard raids though

I just need either the gauntlet or the helmet to get to level 30. I have the chest plate, just got it, and the legs, which are maxed. Then I have the the no back up plans and 2 of the exotic helmets. I really want the helmet cuz it looks cool, but I'm planning on getting all of them

I don't consider people true level 30s until they have a fully upgraded Raid Helmet to get to that 30 without using an exotic. That takes time and effort to get. Atheon/Gate Keepers on hard with the random teleporting, and people dying to Hobgoblins because they don't know how to play safe, is a pain, and only people who are helpful to the group and are elitests can complete it. I am a lvl 30 elitest and I disapprove if this guy's post. Hate on me, I've run through the hard Raid more times than you probably will. Mostly to help others.

I recently reached level 30 and I feel no different (I honestly forget I am sometimes and wonder why people dance with me more often). I don't feel that way towards lower-level players :)

U must play with bad players that are level 30. I run the raid with 3 30s and 3 29s and usually the 29s die because of the damage output enemies do. However we don't talk crap if u die because we all die and we all been level 29 before. Usually in one hour or so we are done with the hard raid.

However I do usually take a group with my 30 warlock to clear confluxes but I can easily hold left with my 29 hunter. 1, 2, or even 3 29s shouldn't really matter on a hard mode if they have a good maxed out set of (Gjallahorn, Icebreaker, VoC, AE, etc). I have been on several groups of 4x30 2x29 where the 30s had garbage weapons and kept dying in the portal and my 29 was doing most of the supplicant clearing until I died because the other 30s out there were not covering my back while I was blowing up groups of sups with Hezan's vengeance... Then I get on one of those magical groups where on every round the other guy is standing on the left pillar near me and the other guy stands on the right (or vise a versa) and the supplicants are constantly clear and inside no one throws grenades and instead rockets or icebreakers that stupid minotaur with a collection of phoenix downs and also know not to grenade Aethon and the titan puts up their 17K weapon of light and we icebreaker Aetheon in 2-3 teleports. With patience I find a group like that each week. Unfortunately they seem to change because people tend to get bored and leave until the expansion... I would take a 29 with a maxed out raid set who shows up with 100 heavy ammo syths over a 30 who is too lazy to show up with decent/maxed out weapons. If I see you running around with Dr Nope as a level 30 then I have to wonder if you really are that unlucky...

Personally I have all 3 classes level 30. But it wasn't all luck there was a lot of grinding and new characters to get them all to 30.

2 RepliesAs someone who has a level 30 warlock and level 30 Titan, I understand where people are coming from. Being level 30 is all based on the Rng in raid. When I was level 29 I outplayed many level 30s I knew. Being 30 does not make you are great skilled player, it just mean you can withstand a few more hits from enemies and can dish out more than a level 29. But I personally rather have a skilled experienced level 29 raider than a level 30 who lucked up his first play through of raid and honestly didn't help much.

Do you really run into that many people that have elitist attitudes about being lvl 30? I would have figured everybody understands how this game works, therefore lvl 30 elitism shouldn't exist.

Everytime i raid with lvl 29's on Hard, no one wants to pick up the relic. If Atheon doesnt teleport me, they get mad that no one picks up the relic, then blame the only lvl 30 in there which is me. When i play with all lvl 30's we beat the whole raid in little over an hour because everyone can handle relic duty. #Level30MasterRace

Your just finding groups with A-holes. I've got 3 level 30s, one of each class. I'll run with anybody who's 29 or higher on hard mode and 25 or higher in the normal. I will say I only run with experienced players in hard mode but in normal it's just me killing time and trying to help others.

I do think it's luck but does take some skill to manage the whole team from not dying the thing about the hard raid and I don't know if anyone other than the raiders know this but you can't be revived if you go down in the hard raid. For their elitism I do think it's crap.

You will never feel it. To be on par with the creatures of the hard raid. To decimate all that stand in my way. RNGesus has bestowed upon me near immortality. He has truly blessed me.

3 RepliesI agree, 30's aren't better but if you were in the situation of looking for a hard raid, 30's will be picked up 29's everyday. 29's take 33% more damage from monsters and do 33% less from monsters.
