  • Awesome update. Can't wait for this to come out. Q: Will the Filter object be added to the palate across all maps, or just the Legendary Map Pack? Q: Will you guys eventually release a DLC for [i]Forge[/i] items? Like objects across all palates on all maps? One thing I would love to see is the Man Cannon placed on all maps. I'm not really even sure why it was placed in Foundry to be honest. All it's really good for in that map is for people to make Rube Goldberg machines or marble tracks. Maps like Standoff, Sandtrap, High Ground or Isolation could see more use for them. And to make it all the more fun, perhaps have a "Power Knob" for them, i.e an option to modify power so you can toss a man or [i]throw[/i] a man. And one final question/request: [b][u][i]Can you PLEASE remake Bloodgulch?![/i][/u][/b] It was such an awesome map. It survived for 3 Halo's. Why'd you have to kill it?

  • Finally! Some Forge News! I'm now going to buy the map packs just because of the Forge items. Too bad they can't be used in the rest of the Halo 3 maps., especially the new camera option.

  • Well I'll be damned. Legendary doesn't look like it's going to suck one bit to me. The new paint job on the vehicles for Avalanche looks sick, I'm going to have fun forging there. Blackout looks iffy, but I'm sure it'll grow on me. And Ghost Town should be really fun. I don't know about those new screenshot things, but hey, if you like taking shots, more power to you. Now, Bungie, thank you so much for your hard work and time put into this game. However, your fans' thirsts for more will never be quenched. As for me, I think it'd be very useful (and cool) to have a camouflage-patterned color option. And not only for your armor, but also for the weapons. I like the tan color, but I wish you could make it so all the armor and weapons can have different patterns. Halo 2 fanatics be damned...this is the Halo 3 era now. Quit -blam!-ing if Bungie doesn't get something right, and stop complaining about the armor perms and anything "Not Halo 2" in this game. Grow up and just fight.

  • If you are hating on Griffball, you suck at H3! If you can't be good enough to not BETRAY you team mates constantly, TIME all of your attacks, and not manage to plant a bomb that while you are holding makes you RUN faster, you got some serious h3 issues you need to work on. Try watching your radar in Griffball, right before a red dot enters that smallest circle in the middle of your radar, hit the right trigger and keep walking forward with the hammer. You will have the split second distance to kill him before he does you. Also, use the hammer and watch your opponents, try and break that thin layer of shield they have left before you go in for the kill. Wanna stop the bomb guy? Pull out the sword, walk toward him, last second, walk backwards and he misses his melee, you slice him, BLAM! What else? As the ball carrier, make sure you know when to take your opportunity, keep you shields up, never get flanked, always run backwards when you need to, and DONT hesitate when it is your time to score because people respawn quick! Use your team to blindside the enemy while you have the ball. Serve as a major distraction then move up the field with your team, spawn kill, score. TOO EASY! and if i remember correctly, bungie even has a griffball update from a previous time that explains various strategies and words to call out that can help you and your team. ALSO, always have a team that knows what they are doing. :D [Edited on 04.05.2008 3:11 PM PDT]

  • I'm sure that the Gloomy filter will be great for Infection maps. It'll add a whole new tone to the gameplay and change the mood drastically.

  • How will the filters work, if you`re niside does everything else look dif, or you`re out and that area only looks dif, or do the filters cover the whole map, and laslty, can you place more the one? so many questinos! come on bungie, why not release it on the 10th

  • Omg, the forge items look sweet. I am seriously going to try our blackout first, although nobody likes blackout because it's a remake, but it looks promising. Also...can I has Legendary Maps?   • well it all looks amazing, but I would love to see the TRANSPORT WARTHOG involved. Especially if it was in Sandtrap. for an Infection game called "RUN" where zombies can run the same speed as vehicles and are partly camoed, your only safety is to get in a vehicle or RUN! it's highly addictive especially when your the last person driving around and getting chased by 11 half camoed zombies who could ambush you at any corner. I feel that the transport warthog could add a huge diversity to huge maps like Avalanche and allow for blitzkrieg tactics so to speak. It would allow for pin point penetration into enemy territory and a new twist to future maps. Overall I am uber pumped to see these maps and I can't wait to get out of school and have real internet without the massive amount of firewalls. Also being able to play online is going to be amazing...again haha -Shawkr

  • the must have things in this map pack are easily the filters, like omg!!!! the maps are awesome too....but i just wished they added the option of using foundry's containers on any map...or at least the walls and fence walls.
