Nope. The defender bubble should already be down, just behind the relic bubble, in order to give everyone weapons of light.

He should put down a second one(without bastion perk) so the group does not need to jump or move at all

Yeah. Not the same Bubble though. (mostly on Hard, but best to do on Normal to so everyone gets used to it) The safest way to end times vengeance is for a titan (the same titan who is popping the Weapons of light so that the weapons of light bubble disappears) pops a bubble in the middle of the platform, so that when the relic shield disappears you have protection from Atheon. Then everyone walks towards the back of the bubble. Reasons why it's safest 1) nobody will be accidentally jumping out of detain (hard mode) 2) Nobody will be getting suicided by harpies while in the detain (hard mode) 3) extra weapons of light for someone to sit in the middle and kill all the supplicants where they spawn, which is the middle

We've had nothing but trouble doing this...The splash damage you get is just not worth it. Even with a team of 4 29s and 2 30s we cleared atheon on hard in just 2 teleports with time spare so if done correctly weapons of light isn't needed. We've found that if the titan drops the bubble just as the inside team are coming out the portal it protects from harpies and gives 2 people weapons of light for a short period of time. Then pops another at 2 seconds to spare. Worked flawlessly for us on hard more than 10 times

We did similar to that but still dropped weapons of light in back of us. Killed him in 2 teleports as well.
