I tend to disagree with the gathering in the center and putting up the barrier strategy. You can't use a rocket launcher inside it (gjallahorn is the single best thing to use on Atheon imo), and people either get decimated on the break or by splash damage slipping in. Most importantly, you lose the added damage from the relic's super. We prefer to spread out a little and keep to cover.

When everyone is in the middle stay to the right of the platform it will minimize splash damage from the wall on your left. When you want to use rockets just jump above shield and shoot.

Your strategy basically comes down to having a good team. I think the pillar method is used so much because it is universally known and is pretty good. There are better ways, but a lot of the time when you are playing with a couple randoms it is just easier to do the pillar. Now I want to try your strategy just because I'm curious how much damage the relic does!

It's up there with the sniper rifles, definitely useful when going for a quick burn.

Yeah I am not going to say your way is wrong no way is wrong what my team does is jump to mid and 4 of us have icebreaker and with weapon of light it does 14k on crits and we can kill him In 2 ports

We just prefer to hammer down on him with as many gjallahorns as possible. If we can ever get all of us to have one I want to try for the 17 second burn method.

Try 17k at lvl 30 with another Titan lvl 30 with weapons of light upgraded, it's stupidly good, most runs we can so nearly kill him in one.

14k is pretty beast! My maxed Praedyth does about 7,800. I never even think about using Ice Breaker because it has so much recoil. I can probably fire accurately twice as fast with my Praedyth than with my Ice Breaker.
