If you're teleported and not holding the relic, toss a grenade into the middle. Gets a hit on the adds and clears a path for the relic holder to clean up while you clear Oracles. Always toss the grenades.

Edited by wexicanamerican: 11/10/2014 10:36:59 PMTossing grenades, like solar or pulse grenades in the middle of hobgoblins can -blam!- the relic holders day up( only use flash bangs really unless you need weapons of light). You need for those hobgoblins to be close together to be one-shotted by the relic holder ground pound. I don't see enough people use heavy weapons in the portals. If you have a heavy machine gun that shit will eat oracles up, so the transition from a Minotaur to an oracle is pretty much nothing. The Relic holder can also drop the relic after the first cleanse, shoot for 3-4 secs then pick it back up with no problems/ cleanse timer doesn't reset.

On Venus with my Hunter I always pop my golden gun and unload on the Praetorian or just fire off a couple Gjallahorns if I have ammo.

Only do that for Venus. Grenading the hobgoblins on Mars just makes them take longer to kill, as they go invulnerable for a few seconds instead of dying to a well-placed slam.
