Raid Boots are the most valuable item
Raid boots are the most valuable item in Destiny currently. They are the only item you [b][i][u]MUST[/u][/i][/b] have in order to be 30. All other items slots, helmet, gauntlets, and chest have exotics that can make you 30. Yet there are no exotic boots to help people get to 30..
It's a shame for those of us that have beaten the raid multiple times, have multiple sets of almost full raid gear, and yet we cannot become a 30 because we need the [b]one[/b] item you actually have to have.
Yet people stroll in with their Xûrned exotics and become 30 instantly...
Sucks.

I never knew so many people had this problem! I hope one day everyone gets their beloved boots so we can all fight the darkness together, as level 30s!

I just finished the hard raid with my clan, and finally.. Got boots, not only one pair, I got two!! I can have 2 level 30s finally!

I've only raided once (lol I know loser) and the first thing I got non shards wise was the boots

Rare my ass I do the raid 3 times a week and I get them the most lol...hell my hunter alone has 6 boots 1 helmet rest energy/shards

5 RepliesBoots? Get lost, its almost all i get. Tally so far 2 legendary weapons 2 exotic weapons 4 raid helms 0 raid gaunts 0 raid chests 7 raid boots 0 exotic armor pieces So boots are the least rare VoG reward, except from shards and energies. For me at least.

Not the boots for me. I need arms or head. Rrngesus hates me...all I get from the raid is shards.

Yeah, I have two sets of raid arms, raid chest and two exotic chests, and raid helmet with two exotic helms. No raid boots.

The very first time I did the raid I got the boots. Then the following week I did it again and got the boots a second time. I guess some people just have more luck. On my second character it was also the first item I got (and only right now)

I have done the raid 20+ times (normal and hard) and not a single pair of boots, therefore the boots are by far the most valuable. I hope to get it within the next 20 raid runs, but i'll probably be on assassins creed

Sadly I have done the raid 18 times and the only armour I have is 3 helmets and 4 boots.... If I could trade I would happily help you guys out. I pray to rngesus that after today's reset I will get gloves or chestplate :/

im on the same boat. My warlock is my main account and RNG absolutely hates me in VOG. Ive got about 6 combinations of armor that can get me to 29 3/4 but those damn boots are holding me back from 30. I was freaking ecstatic when i got boots for my hunter the first time i did it on that account because now i just need 2 out of the other 3 which is a lot more manageable.

In an age where false morals are a diamond dozen, true virtues are a blessing in the skies. We often put our false morality on a petal stool like a bunch of pre-Madonnas, but you all seem to be taking something very valuable for granite. So I ask of you to mustard up all the strength you can because it is a doggy dog world out there. Although there is some merit to what you are saying it seems like you have a huge ship on your shoulder. In your argument you seem to throw everything in but the kids Nsync, and even though you are having a feel day with this I am here to bring you back into reality. I have a sick sense when it comes to these types of things. It is almost spooky, because I cannot turn a blonde eye to these glaring flaws in your rhetoric. I have zero taller ants when it comes to people spouting out hate in the name of moral righteousness. You just need to remember what comes around is all around, and when supply and command fails you will be the first to go. Make my words, when you get down to brass stacks it doesn't take rocket appliances to get two birds stoned at once. It's clear who makes the pants in this relationship, and sometimes you just have to swallow your prize and accept the facts. You might have to come to this conclusion through denial and error but I swear on my mother's mating name that when you put the petal to the medal you will pass with flying carpets like it’s a peach of cake.

2 RepliesI have to wear shitty Sunbreakers to be level 30 cause I haven't gotten any Warlock gloves yet even though I do the raid on my warlock twice a week (Hard mode counts as doing the raid twice, still no gloves).

I have all warlock gear except boots, going on 4 th week! Fortunately my hunter is 30. Just gotta keep grinding.
