Why are 98% of all rare ships poop brown?
See title. A little color variation would be nice!
EDIT: The only two ships I have that do not fit the poop brown color scheme are 'Outrageous Fortune' and 'Crypt Hammer'. Both of which are PS exclusives. Which sucks for the XB1 folks I suppose.
2nd EDIT: It appears the new Dark Below "expansion"(LOL) has added some new ships. I have seen a couple of NEON GREEN ones as well as one with Superman colors. I think that brings the overall total of brown ships down to 95%~ give or take 2 percent.

Because what's left of bungie has the imagination of a fruit fly. Ships are totally -blam!-ed. Just like everything else in the game there's 3 styles and they all come in 2 colors. Shit & shittier. No variety in design or color

I don't know what's wrong with your TV color scheme, but they're bright orange on my computer. And on my PC monitor when I use that.

Been a long time since I'd seen one it looked brand new . So ... I threw the ones I liked in the vault and scrapped the rest . Then I pulled out the ship I flew with and loved the most before getting all these puddin ones , NS66 Cloud Errant . Although I just got the Crypt Hammer and it's similar in paint scheme so I'm rockin it now .

After two months I Just found out that if you sprint to the hangar directly after arriving there, you can see your ship fly in and be loaded to a lower deck. Been there so many times not paying attention lol

There is speculation that a new customizable option will be made available for ships and sparrows in the near future. It is this future update that is said to be the reason for all of the rare ships, excluding the PS exclusives, for having as their color scheme that off-putting shade of brown with which we guardians are all too familiar
