Comment with some ideas, Personally I think it needs a little more range possibly some impact buff, And maybe another perk besides the volatile light perk. Something new and exciting should be implemented with the new update.
This gun is fully upgraded and doesn't feel like a true exotic.
Nonetheless it's still my favorite weapon.

1 ReplyEdited by KatoZee: 11/10/2014 10:17:40 PMI'm not entirely sure that it over penetrates targets either. It seems as if the bullets are bouncing off of the first enemy I shoot. It's difficult to tell with the muzzle flash but in often seeing my bullets come back at me. Plus hi guass (^^ ,) Hard light, should it have a higher impact so it fits its name better. Over penetrate... Wouldn't that make it sharp light?

I picked buff but I think it should get both. Nerf the range but buff the impact. Both nerf and buff should be slight. All other stats stay the same. I really enjoyed using this weapon but was a hand cannoneer. Then I realized that I needed a legendary auto for situations when burst firing the heads of thrall mobs while switching to icebreaker for phogoth and wizard crits was much more effective for that strike. Reload rate was better on the auto. Since then the higher impact has made me less likely to use hard light. Since I really only use autos for close range I wouldn't notice much if the range was nerfed. Also, since actual light has ridiculous range and virtually no impact, the name hard light for a weapon with exactly the opposite traits would be amusing. Just my 2¢

it needs to be debuffed NERF PLZ
-
The stability perk on it is glitched and they need to fix that. Besides that it should have arc damage and a slight impact buff and then it will be a force to be reckoned with.
-
Upgrade the range and stability
-
I feel like it should do Arc damage, as well as having a perk that tightens the spread of the shots and maybe overall accuracy. Maybe buff starting accuracy so it doesn't discourage new users as much.

If I could get it I would vote

I just finished it. Hard light is ok, it doesn't need another perk, but the thing could use improvement. Range would be awesome.

Edited by Majorpanek: 11/8/2014 9:23:53 PMThe gun doesn't put out as much damage as my suros or TDYK but I use it because I like the feel of the gun and have just gotten use to the play style, I honestly feel like even a slight buff to the base damage of this weapon might put it ahead of all other ARs just due to its fire rate. Edit: maybe if they increased the ramp up of the glass half full it might even out.

Edited by GMOSS98: 11/8/2014 9:14:48 PMShould be able to go through cabal shields and have increased impact

5 RepliesMy last raid dropped me both Suros and Hard Light. I tried both on patrol without any upgrades and Suros seemed way easier to use. I'll upgrade them all eventually but I think I'll probably do Truth, then Suros, then Monte Carlo, then Hard Light. Low priority right now I guess

Maybe it should just do arc damage
-
I have it and I think it needs a slight impact buff. I still like it tho.

7 RepliesI reeaaalllyyy think the "hard light" bonus on it should cause a slight blinding effect on your enemy... Not total like the titan grenade, but just enough to make them panic

4 RepliesThe nerf for auto rifles didn't do much to ARs with excessively ridiculous stability, and severely messed up ARs that were at a fine stability point for its weapon type. I don't have hard light, but I'm seeing lots of people comment on its stability. AR stability shouldn't be anywhere near max stability, but it shouldn't be absolute garbage either. In that sense, I'd say add to stability for the guys that have it. Then again, to get use out of all guns...wouldn't it's current state suggest on a Map like fire base Delphi, it's fine as it is? But then again to counter that...Some guns....are just better than the rest..which you either have to say is by design choice, or is a mistake within The sandbox Balance.

I feel like its too weak. I think it needs more impact and I also have Monte Carlo. Unfortunately the ever common Suros beats them both by a landfall in PVE and PVP. Sue doesn't feel like an exotic at all.

Not alot, just enough that it can compete with other auto rifles

Give it Solar burn damage similar to the thorn...done deal.
