What I'm trying to say is that Destiny will be adding armour and weapons through updates. They could do what this game is doing and release it in dlc to make it seem like a good deal. And since everyone gets the dlc on every console, all those things could easily be added through updates.

All the IB and Queen's Wrath items we're already on disc. Plus this is an MMO, so it's expected that they do this, you need to keep pumping out content like that or you'll run out of content pretty fast. The Witcher is a single player game, it doesn't have monthly events with new armor. It's the kind on game that comes out and then has 1 or 2 DLC's to expand the story, if there is any at all. But the devs are going above and beyond and are making DLC for the game for free, and it's all new content. Another example of this would be GTAV, Rockstar could've left the multiplayer vanilla, but they put out a new pack with more vehicles, weapons, etc. Saying that Destiny does this too just doesn't work because of the type of game Destiny is.

All of this Witcher stuff is already on the disc as well.
