Yes thats what is called but currently the term dlc expansion refers to a much smaller scale than what I am displaying here. The term seemed less fitting when dealing with this idea. thanks for your input.

I think they need to stop calling their little dlc map and gear packs "expansions". Then every 2 years release a true expansion.

Yearly expansion are more common than the 2 year expansions on profitable mmos. But you are right.
