Why do people keep getting excited for the same games being rereleased? First Halo and now ME? I liked both series but guys... We played them already!

These are brilliant ideas. New players are introduced to a franchise or earlier games they did not get to play, more bang for up your buck (3 to 4 games for 60? Remastered and includes ALL DLC? Bargain), also pushes for next gen console sales, and older players experience a sense of nostalgia.

Pretty crazy that Some people are playing those games at this very moment. Remakes are pretty badass if they tweak and add stuff. I hoped for a ff7 remake forever. Idk if it even ever got made but at one point fans were raving over rumors. The good thing, the series the remakes are based of of haven't ended. Their world's still exist. Halo will have halo 5 Mass effect will have a new story within the same universe from what I read unless that changed. What a dope ass idea to get new gamers into a series they've never played before. Revamped, and hopefully better than before. Sure, I'd love some bad ass New NEW games. for now though, these remakes are going to be very enjoyable.

Final Fantasy 7 remake is my dream game
-
Same here. For awhile I'd Play any game with cloud in it haha. Have you played erhgeiz? It was w fighting game. It has a badass adventure mode though. Kind of a ripe side bonus to playing a fighting game with ff characters.

Yes And I don't know why Square Enix just won't listen to its fans? It's one of the most requested game in history. So much so that someone created an online petition years ago. Before petitions were a thing
-
I remember the petition lol. Well, with games being remade for the new consoles maybe they'll finally listen. I stop playing FF games a long time ago. Ffx was the last one I played. The others later just didn't interest me. 7 always remained my favorite.
-
I just want to keep them playable. Both are games I would love to replay. I never got to replay ME 1&2. And I've started replaying Halo because I love the campaigns, I don't have the MCC edition, but it made me want to replay the games.

In part, I'd assume it gives people who either traded in their last gen console, or want to sell it, something to play on their new console which has a limited amount of games out for it. If they liked playing it previously they'll probably like it again. There was a fair amount of replay value to the ME series. If all I had was a next gen console I'd definitely be pleased with an ME re-release.
-
I guess that makes sense.
-
Well maybe if destiny was a better game people wouldn't have to go back to Halo/ME

Some people like playing games again. I am on new game plus for The Evil Within. Just cus I beat it doesn't mean I don't like playing it.
-
I think they get excited because new games tend to be very dissapointing when it comes to content. Controlls/graphics they blow the hell out of them but when it comes to the raw content/storyline all media (Movies, games and I would even include books) Have been in a decline.
-
I'm slightly excited for this because the controls are being reworked for the first two games. The controls were horrible in ME1, and ME2 was only slightly better.
-
But ME1 is also the best ME, and the other 2 are too streamlined
-
While it's the best ME, it had the worst controls by a long way.
-
That's cool but is it really worth the money to play the game again?
-
I won't be pre-ordering it or picking it up on release, but I'll definitely grab it when it hits half price.
