Good on Bungie for doing something nice to help out a person who has suffered so much. Obviously this brought a smile the the guys and his families faces, which must be few and far between at the moment.
There are literally hundreds of morons bitching about this, and for what reason? Jealousy maybe? Well I'm sure the guy in question would happily swap his gift to have his health back.
All the people whining are complete and utter f*cktards.
You should be ashamed.

It's like people who complain that they have been paying health insurance premiums for nothing. Like, so sorry that you're healthy and didn't get your money's worth. People suck.

1 ReplyI dont really think its about complaining its about the oddity of the situation. It is not bad to give someone something special if they have struggled in life and are a fan of your company. Sports teams do this all the time with children and veterans through their competitions. So it is not bad to do this. What is strange is how it is only one guy; it is not focused on a disease affecting millions (cancer with NFL), or chronic illnesses in children (NHL letting those kids suit up) it is just about this one person. If it was a campaign aimed at a disease or illness or even victims of abuse then it would be seen as genuine. Personally I do not have a problem with someone receiving something because of hardship, its nice to get rewarded when life beats you down (trust me I know, I am 21 and have had 3 back surgeries and have been temporarily paralyzed because of spinal deformities). But doing it for one individual verses starting up a campaign for awareness is what gets people. So dont get frustrated that one person received a weapon that the entire community will eventually have a chance to earn. Instead of "petitioning" for the ban on this weapon (ive seen multiple posts with this idea) get Bungie to take up a cause affecting many people and that may be close to your heart.

1 ReplyIt's like the Mythoclast, everybody whines for a nerf, but when they get get it, they start saying don't nerf it. It's just a exotic scout rifle people!
-
Yeah I think the complaining is ridiculous it's just a get well present awesome by bungie :3 but all the whining is crazy cmon guys he is sickly and instead of being mean and rude can't we just pray for his good health and be happy for this guy because surgery is tough especially surgery that goes all up in you chrome dome. So what I am saying is everybody who didn't complain should get a gun called fate and the losers who derped about it should be given fools HAHA JOKES ON YOU! Fools

43 RepliesI paid the money just like that guy did I don't give a fuk who or what the fuk you or how sick someone is everybody who spent their hard eared money should get what they payed for it's not about the fuking gun it's the fact Bungie goes gives that guy something everyone should be able to get. Also the fact that the game is a disgrace to have come from the makers of Halo is a joke the game has no content you just do the same shit over and over again. The fuking main menu of CoD AW has more of a story that destiny it's sad Sure the guy is down on his luck so are most people. If your ok with this whole thing then that's on you but it's send a bad message to big companies that they can get away with shit like this. I don't care who you are that's bad for all gamers. How long are we going to keep letting them ass -blam!- our wallets

I 100% agree

http://destiny.wikia.com/wiki/Fate_of_All_Fools vs http://i.imgur.com/CjUu1iz.gif Didn't know bungie is so lazy to use the same model of the low level weapon to make it the best weapon in the game ( the hardest to get) just with a differente skin. lOl :D Good job bungie.....................

Edited by BlueEmperor55700: 11/9/2014 3:37:43 PMIt's a fancy Strangers Rifle don't complain when you have a Gjallahorn or Hawkmoon
-
Think is good they reached out gave him fate of all fools I'll get mine later with the expansion as for people complaining it's a gun get over it you will be able to get it later
-
3 RepliesWhy stop at one guy? Why not give everyone with cancer the gun? It's not about being nice, it's about good PR.
-
People are just trash if they're complaining about that.
-
3 RepliesHelp?? I don't understand that fuss but giving something to one guy whatever the life he/she has been through is not fair to all that are sick and in need, it's not fair to people that have handicap so they can't play the game well, etc. The point is yes bungie want to show us they are generous but it's only worth in the eye of the sheep. There is no equity on this. Anyway it was kind on their part for that person. It's not a troll/hate post that I'm writing, anyway everyone will have a chance to get this gun, and it's not a game breaker. It's just marketing.

What system is this guy on? I'm curious to see how good it actually is.
-
I love that bungie did that

17 RepliesEdited by Cromica: 11/7/2014 6:46:25 PMI have had health problems for the last 17 years of my life, 3 kidney transplants, optic nerve in my left eye dead, can't hold a job because I am sick all the time due to low immune system from transplants and I would give almost anything just to have a normal life. All the people complaining about this are nothing but worthless little -blam!-s that have never been through anything major in their sad pathetic little life's.
-
5 RepliesYou can complain if that kid who had the operation repeatedly beats you in 1v1 gunfights. Until then, go play your Viva Piñata and feel better about yourself
-
This gun is -blam!-ing stupid anyway, there's a lot better exotics in this game. If I were him I would have asked for the thorn instead so I can get rid I this -blam!-ing bounty
-
I have a great idea. Let's start a thread about bitching so it causes more bitching. This is fun!
-
ok everyone needs to chill bungie did an awsome thing by making this guys day but with the whole o he should be the only one to have this gun and everthing no im sure he dosent even want that hes just happy to have it and use it.With the donating thing if you really want to donate dont go through a game and do it do it in person go to a shelter donate money or food thats what you should do if you really feel that strong about something. I applaud bungie for this it really is great. But making it seem like he the only person to recover from an illness is wrong. Deej wanted to make someones day and he did.
-
This. However, people saying that we should donate to him and that he should be the only one to have it is -blam!-ing dumb. Let the man feel special for 2 months and be known as the original owner for something for coming over adversity. But you don't suck his damn dick for years to come. He's just a guy who came over an obstacle in his life, and receiving something for it is his own right. Respect the man, don't get on your knees and open your mouth wide.
-
Yet you have just given them a platform to do just that
-
Well said. Anyone complaining is a cu nt. pure and simple.
-
2 RepliesThere seems to be a lot of complaining and whining lately! Just enjoy the game! I think it's awesome that dude got that gun! I'm sure we will get an opportunity to get in too in the future.
-
We'll it's going to be in the dlc which is 20 dollars. His family faces? Like they give a shit!
-
1 ReplyYou're literally a pathetic human being if you think what bungie did was unfair.
-
2 RepliesIt just shows that Bungie can dip into anyones account at anytime and do what they like.
gun is op! Nerf it
