See this is what developers do when they actually give as shit about their fans and not just about making money and scamming 12 year olds. Not to mention I GUARANTEE the Witcher 3 has 10x more content than destiny at launch.
If you think the $20 dollar destiny dlc is reasonable after seeing this you should see a psychiatrist.

I don't give two shits about whatever game your talking about.
-
Is this game coming out for ps4? Because I'll gladly give them my money (even if I don't like the game) for these business practices.
-
Grand Theft Auto 5 did this and is still doing this. And, they still have the highest selling game ever. Call of Duty, Battlefield, Destiny.. Basically any EA or Activision game.. Never give back to the community. Yes, I know. It's a business. Blah blah, save it. If you've made billions, you can spare a few free DLCs. Great find, OP.
-
Your an idiot. Witcher 3 cost 10 million to make while destiny cost 500 million to make.. Do u see the difference?
-
What are your thoughts on COd Map packs being $15 in which you get like 3 maps and some junk as cosmetics? In destiny we get missions, strikes, raid AND maps....not just maps
-
Do you know a good one? They have a refer a friend program?
-
Edited by saggypete9000: 11/7/2014 11:50:28 PMI don't get why everyone it hating on the Destiny DLC. For COD, DLC is $20 for 3 multiplayer maps. With Destiny you get 3 multiplayer maps and a lot more. I for one think $20 is a fair price for the content the Destiny DLC provides.

Yeah I'm looking forward to that one. But let's face it. Twenty bucks is really frack all. It costs three times that to fill my car up ffs.
-
I remember when I thought Bungie had integrity as well. That's until I bought Destiny and realized that half of the locations that were in the Grimoire in the beta aren't even in the -blam!-ing game. They're "in development". Next fall, Destiny 2: The Content Returned. Only $60 Pre-order soon!

This is fooking awesome

What's the point of you posting then? Do you want attention like all the others who say " I sold my game , because the game is overrated" or " this game is lacking so much content that it is a joke?" Stop trying to get attention and just sell the game
-
I knew this was going to be about the witcher 3 before I clicked.
-
You're a dumbass. Witcher 3 free dlcs are only cosmetic. Nothing of actual content. Learn to read your article before posting bullshit. Yet this shows how illiterate people are. Sigh
-
What's Witcher 3?
-
Okay. Have fun playing the Witcher 3. I'll just be here bouncing between Unity, GTA and Destiny and enjoying myself just as much as you think I shouldn't.
-
Those DLC's are mainly armor/weapons (like 2 items per DLC package) so yeah, its cool but not like "woah, how can they afford that?!"
-
It makes me wonder how much $ did Witcher 3 and the series make? That's an insane number of dlcs! Also why not just release fewer dlc's which are larger? Almost like a stab at other games which can't pump out the dlc's that fast.
-
Edited by SgtThroatPunch: 11/8/2014 12:00:05 AMThere is a huge difference between DLCs of armor sets and beard/hair sets, and one that has something as elaborate as a new raid. If you can't see that difference, I guess you might want to see said psychiatrist.
-
Edited by PeacefulNomad: 11/7/2014 11:54:15 PMTo be fair, the DLC is like horse armor. It's not a crap ton of stuff. Its cool they are doing it and I will probably pick up the game to support them because I love companies that take an add value approach to their customer base but I'm sure they will do some not free DLC too
-
Do you even have destiny man? Lmfao
-
Agreed but looks like a lot of the Dlc from Witcher are very small things, where destiny dlc has quite a bit more to it. 20$ worth? No.

The Witcher is using a totally different development mentality and isn't ultimately run by Activision. If you expect Activision to do anything for players, you need a psychiatrist. Also, please tell me more how life isn't fair and companies are mistreating the peasants and give me those delicious tears. Tell me how capitalism is the root of all evil, and how organization operate without a conscious, this is all novel and insightful and I'll pretend haven't heard it repeated et nauseam by every conservative agenda on the planet for the past 25 years.
not just about making money and scamming 12 year olds
Are these the same worthless 12 year olds who's idiot parents drive them to Gamestop and buy them GTA V so they can beat hookers and hang out in virtual strip clubs like little retarded degenerates? And I am supposed to feel bad for who? The idiot parents spending the money on their little spoiled sh1t children? I have a real job, if I want to piss $20 away tonight at my dine in movie theater on a ticket and a beer, that is entirely my choice for a few hours of entertainment. Is it fair to charge someone $12 for a movie ticket and another $8 for a beer? Idk let me put my tampon in first. Fair only exists if you're a pathetic absolutist believer. Life is what it is and no one is forcing me at gunpoint to pay for these services, so don't bitch about it. Lastly, that sounds awesome about The Witcher, I can't wait to play that game while also continuing to play Destiny DLC because that's what I choose to do as an adult with my time and money. There's the door, go find another injustice to haunt, there's an infinite number so stop pretending video gaming or Destiny is unique in ANY WAY whatsoever. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

"DLC" yeah.. Sure.. More like alternate costumes

Demand and supply. You think expansion packs are screwing you as a consumer? Welcome to capitalism. If people will purchase, it's not the company's fault. Every company known to man is out to maximize profits.
