I like it, never played witcher before but I sure as hell am now, I'm only still playin destiny cause I havnt felt like getting AW since there's no extinction and no zombies, Destinys just lucky there's no new games out. P.s. Bungie eat a bowladics

If destiny did this it would probably one of the best games. Reduce that 10 year crap to a year and a half every two weeks. Destiny would be amazing. Now I now they can't do all of it but we know their is enough cut content to be released in the next few years. Who will be playing this it 10 years? Or even 3? Not me.

If free content is your definiton of caring then I wonder what your stance would be if you got a free swift kick in the rear. It's great that some companies do free dlc. But paid dlc isn't wrong either. And it gives back to devs since they only make money from day one sales. The rest they get standard pay for supporting the game through patches and fixes. My problem with their PR statement is that it indirectly states that companies that choose to make paid dlc are obviously just trying to get more money. It shames most companies. I'm not going to state that they worded it that way to get that indirect statement. But it can be seen that way. It has to honestly be taken on a game by game basis. If you want to have an example of "milking" call of duty is the best one. Back in the days of mw2 and before that you paid like 15$ for 5 or so maps and sometimes more stuff. Now in cod you pay 20$ if not more for less maps and less content in general. Of course every "clever" hater of destiny is going to state that it's the same. I'm not even going to argue with that shit anymore. Dumb people will stay dumb. I get their anger. I was let down as well. And i don't think bungie is doing everything right. But i'm not going around hate bashing the game, pulling crazy ideas out of my ass, trying to drag others down, or obsess on what the game could have been and why it changed. None of that is helpful or productive. If you honestly think destiny is that shitty just leave and turn in your copy. The forums exist for healthy discussion and constructive feedback. Not conspiracies and bashing.

Yep. Still think is reasonable. Why? I'm paying $20 for multiple INTERACTIVE CONTENT. They're giving away APPEARANCES FOR FREE. Yes I looked through the list. Yes I saw they were offering quests as well for free and the amount of DLC is unbelievable. "When something looks too good to be true. It is." I've played Witcher and as fantastic as it is, realistically, they can only pump out "new content" at the same quality at a much slower rate then they're offering. Any new quests are not going to take you to new places or play any serious part in the story. They're going to redirect you back to old areas to kill the same mobs for a different reward. And it's not going to be rare armor that's better then you already have. In this case, they're going for quantity over quality and with the quantity stated, it's going to bite them in the ass. How stupid do they think I am in thinking that they can fool me by telling me what I want to hear and lapping it up the way you guys are? I know the development process to achieve the quality the Witcher series is known for does not allow for "True New Content Every Week" on the level that the actual game will be. Personally, this is far more insulting then Destiny has been. I will not be buying Witcher III. This is a clear blatant disrespect to the intelligence level of gamers in thinking we don't know any better in my eyes. Quantity does not quality make.

So even though I will get hours and hours of fun and entertainment for $20 on a game I really enjoy playing, I'm going to be classed as a "psychopath"? what does $20 buy you nowadays entertainment-wise? next to nothing so yeah for me it'll be worth it alot more than witcher3 even with all its free DLC (1 armour set on witcher is classed as a DLC btw lol) As I like online games and playing with friends and from what I've read witcher doesn't even have any sort of online gameplay :S

Basically what it boils down to is people are stupid.... Let's pretend destiny had 5 exotics (bad juju, thorn, invective, pocket infinity, and super good advice). Now let's say destiny added 1 new exotic weapon per week for free (suros regime, red death, ice breaker, truth, etc). The vast majority of people would be excited over this because it gives the illusion of more content being added to the game they've purchased rather than appreciating the content that's already there. It wouldn't matter how small the addition of new content is as long as the people that want more are visually seeing things being added to their purchase on a regular basis. And for a game that supposedly has "little content" there's a lot of people with several hundred hours invested in the game including myself and I love every moment of it.

Any company can now look at Destiny and know where to improve their own games ..so theres that lol

That's what developers do when they know their product will make a ton of money on it's own merits...unlike the now marginally talented Bungie who has to rely on past reputation and hype to sell pre-orders, and then nickel and dime you to death with the promises of making an average game better.

Jesus I pretty much poop 20 bucks everyday. If you can't afford the DLCs you shouldn't have bought the game in the first place. It's not expensive and it's not unfair of them to do this. I'm sick of all the complaining.

Idrgaf tbh. I just want Custom Games. Everything else doesn't matter to me. I fear MCC will be my next game, and that's disappointing since I'm a top 100 worldwide player. I know many other great players, they are in my clan. two Top 10 players, #1 in Control player, #1 in skirmish player, #1 for snipers player, etc. Many top 10s. It's really disappointing that half of those players have already left. They all want Custom Games too, but apparently Bungie doesn't give a hoot. It's not like we've been wanting Custom Games since before the beta. Bungie's doing wrong by catering to the casual players. The Competitive community is the community which always stays into a game if it's worth staying into. Casual players will just drop this game at the next game, like advanced warfare.
