Thank you to the Public Event Tracker creator, it is useful and cool. As for all the irrelevant hating on Destiny, I will add my thoughts.. Destiny is an amazing game. I feel this way, and so does every single person I play with. Granted, none of them are under 18 yrs old. But hating on Destiny is trending for the teens, so trendy teens gonna hate. I for one can't wait to get off work every day, hit the dailies, do some bounties, run some patrols, gather some materials, screw around with my buddies, surf on my sparrow, discover new places, beat some strikes, try to stay positive in the crucible for my thorn bounty, level up more of my vast collection of exotics, hunt those elusive damn raid gloves, man I could go on and on and on. It's mind boggling to me how these kids demand even more content than we already have. They just don't understand. I think most of them truly like the game but their peers are encouraging them to believe that they were ripped off. And don't even get me started on the kids saying they were "promised more". Got to be one of the funniest things I've ever heard. Maybe they got a special version of the game that came with a written promise inside stating the game would do everything and anything for the player at any given time. Because I know for a fact that my game came with no promise whatsoever, and I doubt anybody else's did either. I believe I got a guarantee that the disc would work, and it did, so no issue there. But it's still amusing (and sad too) to see how some people perceive such a great game in such a poor manner. Self-inflated unrealistic expectations, I suppose. I bought it hoping it would be my next addictive, fun game, and boy, did I underestimate that. This game exceeded any and every expectation I could have imagined for it. As for nitpicking details in trailers that aren't in the current game, well let's see, that happens in just about every movie preview and game preview ever. Scenes are cut, final products change, behind the scenes business decisions are made, some things are made better, some poorer things are scrapped, and we are eventually sold the game that we pay for. I sure as hell have got my money's worth. Best $60 I've spent in years. And if I didn't like the game? No big deal. Happens often, I'll loan it to a friend and find a new game that suits my preferences better. And I sure as hell wouldn't lurk around the forums and tell people why I didn't like the game. Like they'd give a shit anyways, lol. TL:DR Destiny is awesome and has more than enough to keep me playing every day, and yes, I've got level 30 on at least one character. It's trending for kids to hate on Destiny, so people jump on the bandwagon even though they really like the game and still play and will keep playing. People inflated their own expectations too much, and shouldn't blame advertisements, nor should they blame documentaries leading up to a finished product, while showing an unfinished product that will no doubt change along the way.
