i thought cross platform was intended to be in the game but scrapped near completion? i assume it was due to the Sony/Bungie/Activision contract or because it was too hard to implement in the game although i have heard of other games using cross platform servers.

Please read my first post I've updated it so that people are more clear on it actually working but being removed due to some hypothetical issues they wanted to avoid with Crucible.

Edited by ZHX1138: 11/5/2014 12:29:16 AMI think you're miss understanding me. Microsoft and Sony will never let you play together on a ps3 and Xbox360. But I'm refering to cross-play within the single brand, ps3 with ps4, Xbox360 with XboxOne. Not Xbox360 with Ps4 or anything like that. I'm finding a lot of people miss interpreting my first post thus I've added more details =D

Actually, that's incorrect about Sony and MS never letting you play together on a PS3 or XB360. There's a game called Defiance, an MMO, that features cross-platform play on the same servers for PS3, XB360, and PC. I don't see why Bungie couldn't do something similar here. And the agreement between Sony and Bungie only covers DLC.

Edited by ZHX1138: 11/5/2014 12:59:48 AMCool point. So maybe it's has to to with the exclusives Sony got, who knows!? All I care is that they support this feature, so please vote on the poll =D It's all Sony, Microsoft, Bungie and Activision Politics so lets have them break some rules and allow for cross-play! =D Also you may want to check this seems like it's unclear on Defiance: http://forums.defiance.com/showthread.php?68904-Cross-platform
