And on these forums Bungie has asked us to express our opinions, so its quite contradictory to tell people that their opinions do not matter.

Saying "I think the sun is blue" doesn't change the fact that the sun isn't blue. Likewise with Halo, it doesn't matter if you "think" it is over.

Let me define my opinion of it being finished the first Halo trilogy was amazing and i believe it was the perfect way of finishing the series. The second trilogy has begun and its just not as good as the first so i do not consider it essentially part of the same series. And it is really a new series considering that its a whole new company making the games. its almost like a new generation of star trek not the same series but still possessing the same set of characters and basic back story. sorry bout the wall of text.
