Ok Flood, I did some digging and here's what I found. In the 1920's and before when schools weren't geared towards women, men were smarter than women. Only in the past few decades women have become "smarter" than men. My hypothesis is that if women were declared less smart than men in any way, feminists would jumps all over the researcher for being misogynic. Therefore, society accepts that women are smarter than men. (In all honesty though, school are geared towards women. At a very early age, boys are treated as defective girls as they tend to not know how to express emotion and lash out in outbursts of violence, resulting in disciplinary actions. Girls do not typically demonstrate this kind of behavior. Also as recess time is cut, it makes young boys more jittery as they are not allowed to release tension through exercise. Don't even get me started on how dodgeball and tag are being cut from school programs because they're too "violent", which seems to be a synonym for boyish. /rant)
