I think everyone noticed by now that "Playing" is actually a tiny portion of end game content because finding a team for raid or even nightfall strikes takes longer than activity itself. I suggest matchmaking is implemented as an optional feature (so people can do solo if they chose) for ALL cooperative high level content that does not support this feature right now.
As Red Frog suggested the matchmaking could be triggered by fireteam privacy setting, so people could create custom teams.
CplL4ncer suggested a hub in the tower for fireteam creation.
I'm hoping this post gains some attention and hopefully Bungie implements it.

Edited by Jitsuryoku: 11/2/2014 11:47:38 AMNot gonna let this suggestion die so easily. Destiny tracker my a**! It takes a lot of luck or a lot of time to gather a 6 person team there on ps3 (I'm certain it's the same on xbox360). A lot of MMO players are available "right now" and in game, but guess what few of them go on Destiny Tracker. So far many people I've spoken to don't even check the tracker because they've wasted hours failing to assemble a team there (ps3 experience). Also, I'm sick of having to travel between the game, bungie website and destiny tracker (and several other websites if I want to stand a chance of assembling a team when I need to) when I want to PLAY THE GAME.
