Patience And Time
So I just got 17 strange coins, I have no exotics except the sunbreakers, should I buy PnT or save up for suros or something?

If you only have 17 strange coins, it is not worth blowing your load on it. Save up for something better in the coming weeks.

Patience and Time is hands down best sniper in the game because it has next to no recoil and you get a free headshots if you wait for camo to activate whilst behind cover like you should with a real sniper rifle. Basically you find a target hide then aim wait for camo pop out and bang target dead . Rinse and repeat until all targets are down . Just make sure you have special ammo synthesis and you really can't go wrong with this rifle. Btw icebreaker kicks like a mule compared to P&T.

Save those coins. An arc damage sniper will only get you so far.

I'd buy it again in a second. It just feels fun to use. Depends how much you play , but 17 strange coins isn't too much to re-find if you totally hate it.

11 RepliesIf you don't have any exotic weapons yet I would save up for something else. It's a solid gun, I hear it's really good in PVP. However, there are far better exotics out there. If you save up for one more week you'll have enough for a primary exotic if he sells one. If I were in your situation I would wait.

You have to guess how much you will use it and I bought and enjoy it but I've been sniping since the game started and I have p&t and ice breaker and think that they are good in their own ways so if you buy it have fun

Save up for a primary exotic. If you want an exotic sniper, you should wait for the icebreaker. It is much more solid than the P&T. The P&T has a very small magazine and low ammo, only 13 rounds without special armor. And and the impact isn't the greatest. Icebreaker never runs out of ammo, and is a one shotter 97% of the time in crucible. Even better in pve

I would get a different weapon personally. Sure the low recoil is nice and it looks okay but the ammo capacity is way too low and there is no special perk that does anything truly useful
