"How best to spend our time together" 'Actual Feedback'

I want to start directing peoples attention away from all the negativity and focus on REAL feedback. As Deej put it, “focus on the best ways to spend our time together” (or something like that). So I started taking some notes on ways the game can change to relieve the repetitivness that people feel. And these are just small things I've come up with in one night playing destiny, small but significant changes like these can greatly improve the enjoyment people get while blasting around the planets or competing in the crucible. Firstly, and in this list the greatest way to improve the repitition I feel, is to work on the Public Events; I thouroughly enjoy grabbing them few bountys, going out on patrol to gain some rep and taking part in as many PE's as possible. They are fun and exciting but are much too easy. I'm sure people have been farming an area waiting on an event only to see a lvl 30 come over the hill and put an easily timed rocket into all the enemy spawning ships, over and over til the “event” is done. Everyone randomly might recieve some upgrade mats, but where is the fun? As soon as you hit lvl 20 the PE's everywhere become repetitive, unrewarding (except for the first of the day) and thus un-engaging. This definately needs working on, my suggestions would be; -Have the event enemys spawn at a lvl similar/relative to that of the guardians in the area. Maybe give the enemy a little bit of spawn protection. Make that gold tier rating more ellusive. -Reward those that perform the best, make it a combination of damage dealt, supers used, damage dealt by your allies using orbs you generated, revives etc. -Rewards dont have to be upgrade mats. They can be iron spirit leaves, ammo packs (1, 2, and 3 places, Heavy, secondary, and primary) or even more reputation. The idea is to simply re-create that excitement of PE's we felt the first couple of times we took part in them. Make them engaging and rewarding. Most of all, put the fun back into blasting around on those planets. Imagine turning up to one and having to devise a strategy with your fire team on how to attain that gold tier, or with a complete stranger... oh wait, no proxy chat..... perhaps in the future then. Rep on Class Items; Currently I have the VoG cloak, The iron banner cloak, the legendary dustwalker cloak, the wicked crucible cloak and another badass one i bought from the speaker. But i'm rarely out farming for vanguard rep so i'm forced to wear a crappy Dead Orbit scarf! If only there was a way i could offer a class item to a faction to permanently recieve rep for that faction on it. This helps with peoples complaints on lack of customization, to an extent, and actually makes use of the awesome looking legendary class items there are to collect. Maybe we could do this with legendary shaders and emblems too. Exotic Bounties taking up bounty space; I'm aware of the fact that a patch is being worked on to extend the amount of bounties that can be carried but why not just bump exotic bounties over to the 'missions' slots, stop bounty tracker offering them when you have say 3, and be done with it. There is also the option of just abandoning the bounties but what if i have every intention of completing it, just not griiinnding it out. I suppose we can ignore this point as the increased bounty space would sort this problem anyway, i guess i am just curious as to why the missions tabs were not used in the first place?? This one is just a general idea on what can be added to the options menu to make the going back and forth from the tower less of a hassle as it wont be as required. Options menu Tabs; We need more tabs such as, faction rep, other chars and their inventory, our vault inventory, the lore/grimoire, a clan message board etc. You get the idea, travelling to the tower, having to go online on a seperate device to get a crew together and such can make playing this game feel more like a chore at times. Strike Missions; Would it be possible to change up the enemy spawns somewhat, make them slightly more random. For example, when dinklebot is decoding runes to get to the summoning pits it would add more difficulty and intensity if i didnt know which door the enemys were coming from by making it more difficult to nuke the lot of them as they spawn. The Crucible; Now I dont know the figures but it appears the crucible is dying a death or at least will without proper attention. The matchmaking and balancing of teams isn't too bad when everyone is playing solo. But if i'm in a team of 3 or 4, it becomes boring and tedious, it could take 3 or 4 team rotations for us to end up against a team that challenges us. Its really not fun for either side. You are Bungie you are known for making the best matchmaking in any console game anyone has ever seen (Halo 2 + 3). I'm really just going to have to assume that it's in the works because this makes no sense otherwise. Gametypes; At the moment clash and control play the EXACT same. Just control the spawns, win game. As far as i can tell there isn't even any control specific maps in the game, as they all give advantages to a spawn side over controlling the actual objectives alone. The dlc is a mere 3 maps for the crucible, one 'first light' style map. (I hope i don't have to explain why the vehicle combat in this isn't greatly appealing). One single clash/control map. And one skirmish style map. It's very little in terms of what is needed to rejuvinate the crucible in the run up to christmas when the playlists will see a significant rise in populace... hopefully. That is all I have for now. I just want to finish and say i hope the feedback forums can get back to actual feedback in the near future. I hope to expand on this at some stage and i hope these don't fall on deaf ears. Long time fan, NeillMcAttack
