Seriously?
Every other class gets a pretty effective evasion tool with this jump yet...not the Titan.
Not to mention if used effectively its a great tool for attacking an opponent. Ive had plenty of Warlocks and Hunters evade my shots and appear inches from me to use a shotgun blast or a melee to one shot me.

TANKS AREN'T SUPPOSED TO TELEPORT. THAT WOULD BE RPG HERESY. But really why is this a question? Only 2 out of 6 subclasses get it. It's supposed to be kind of special, and other double jumps have greater range which helps get to high places.

Edited by Jastier: 11/4/2014 1:31:01 PMPVE titan's have the best controllable jump. Using blink in the PVE environment is pretty much junk. I have zero experience as a hunter so I cannot comment on them. I think titan's have the best overall jumping abilities compared to other classes. I do think it is a bit lack luster in pvp. With that said you don't have "unlimited" blink ability. If you use them back to back there is a short wait period before you can blink again. It is also a lot harder to judge where you are landing. Even with a lot of use I still catch the edge of a building or walkway and miss the jump.
-
I have to assume that catapult was supposed to have the same general effect as blink, but it does not seem to work that way
-
It's not the Titans style
-
According to some armor Descriptions I read: Titan Armor itself is heavy enough to smash stone into dust. Warlocks are made of cloth and Energy. Hunters are thin framed assassins. Plus your a TITAN you don't need a fancy teleport! All you need to win in crucible are your GUNS AND A FIST FULL OF HAVOC! Titans don't run on magic. They run on the militarized art of beating-things-to-death-with-their-fists.
-
It's goes against what Titans embody but I'll agree that blink is incredibly powerful and combined with shotties is game breaking in crucible.
-
They are too heavy... With their armored body from head to toe
-
Shut up meg
-
If God intended everybody to be the same, he'd have given us all braces on our legs.
-
I like my jet pack thank you very much. Not great for dodging but you can go pretty high.
-
cause the titan is a heavily armed and armored fat ass lol
-
Shoulder charge
-
Titans can carry multiple grenades, pretty much 1-shot melee others, put up additional shielding, and have exotics that add perks to abilities. No, you don't get warp jumping.
-
Edited by That Halo Dude: 11/4/2014 3:35:21 AMShoulder Charge is the mobility tool that Blink wishes it could be.
-
um, their supers. thats why. lets just have a titan blink into the air and fist of havoc. -.- or with their defender bubble. i play a titan as my secondary, and i think this is an awful idea. i dont even use blink on my hunter, its not fun and takes little to no skill
-
because BUBBLES!!!! i love titans
-
Because no one else gets to use an OP bubble shield. Titans dominate control and are almost necessary when in overwhelming firefights in nightfall strike and VOG. Obviously the other classes have some sort of mechanism to run and dodge due to the lack of defensive capabilities. Please rethink dumb questions.
-
There hover push is -blam!-ing amazing. You can be so fast and quick with there jump.
-
Shoulder Charge, that is all
-
Give us 1HKO melees and then we can talk.
-
To sum it up. Titans = Army/USMC/whatever you wanna call em. Warlocks = Rogue Scholars Hunters = Civvies that like to -blam!- shit up. naturally the civvies would steal the best ideas from both people who have already been out and done it (armor from the titans, warping from locks) if every class was the same, why not just call it halo 5?
-
Your to heavy
-
Because Titans are bitches. Tanks don't teleport, genius.
-
Its because Titans are too cool for that. We take pride in our ability to fight with out cute little tricks like that
-
Cause we don't need it, let the lesser classes use the cheap maneuver. :P Plus we have shoulder charge and that's okay, but I would rather have warp. Shoulder charging rarely works since everyone uses shotgun.
