Regarding Upcoming Destiny Content

Hey, Bungie Community. I hope you had a nice weekend. We noticed that you noticed that we already have plans for upcoming content packs in Destiny. We do! They have activity names (which may or may not change) and we have a really good idea what they're going to contain. They even have placeholder nodes in the Director, as you've already discovered. But neither of the Expansion Packs we've announced are finished. People at Bungie are hard at work to complete content for our first post launch pack, "The Dark Below," as I type these words. It will be finished soon. It releases in December. Soon, we'll detail it out for you so you can see exactly what we've been working on. Thanks for playing. Thanks for the passion. We know you want details. We'll talk more soon.

This just bothers me to no end. I'm just baffled that THIS situation is considered a standard. CapCom became infamous for strategy like this (resident evil, street figther, MvC 3, etc) and the result of it is shown (and has continued to) in their full-year earnings (they're garbage). How are you NOT telling a specific user-group that you don't care about their experience? Keep in mind, this is coming from a user who tested your ALPHA I mean, providing more content via pre-launch is one thing, but providing extra content over the life of a game? "I don't feel LEGEND Bungie", will be the call from fans soon. Because now a certain user group has 6 strikes to another 8 strikes. PS4 got like, a couple extra stories or something, an extra strike, and a few weapon sets (1 per armor) at release, but compared to the mass of content you get on Xbox, it's a very small percentage-- with this DLC it becomes a bigger percentage. (keep in mind I have both a PS4 and Xbox One, but I prefer the latter due to friends and other features) This whole thing might as well be pay-wall for players all around. This should never have been about who has what console, and/or slow releases of a part finished game. BUNGIE should have been about the experience of the game for users, and now that's lost due to restrictions that have nothing to do with gameplay, but business deals. By trying to hurt the competition or raise your sales profits, You've succeeded in hurting the users/fans of Destiny AND Bungie. Kotaku said it best, "This sort of practice is just going to breed more resentment in the people who play games."
