we are the gamers, and we don't deserve this
I'm a huge halo/bungie fan, and i hope i can one day work for them and create awesome video games.
But this game is not the one that i and thousands of other players were wanting to buy.
They are ignoring you gamers, they don't care about what you think about patches or their paid DLC, they only care about the money and have turned into another activision...
they add these patches not to help the player, or to make the game more fun, but to increase the amount of time you play because they know they lack content and want you to stay for the paid DLC and give them money.
they have falsely advertised most of the things in this game in trailers and have taken them out to either make it DLC or to satisfy corporate.
the original writer of halo does not work at bungie anymore because he resigned to look for more artistic work, and this is most likely because they took his story and threw it into the trash.
they believe that we are idiots and we will not do a thing while they force us to pay for a better game in the form of dlc that does not exist because its the same thing.
we need to take a stand and refuse to buy anymore dlc and playing this game to make them understand that they need to make some changes in the game and start listening to its gamers that hope that this game could be better.
and i'm not mad at them because i suck at the game or because i got killed or because i haven't done all the things to do in this game because i'm an idiot...
i'm making this thread because i and thousands of others think that this game has the potential, but bungie is holding back for money.
take a stand because you are a gamer and you deserve better than this, you deserve the game you were advertised, you deserve a game that puts other games to shame.
please don't buy the dlc and make this a trend among other gaming companies, make bungie realise that we are important.
i do love this game, i want to improve it, i want this to be on the top of all the other games, but bungie is making the wrong choices and some are money based. i'm just trying to make this game into the game it was supposed to be and the one we want.

12 RepliesMy biggest issue with Destiny is that the hardest modes don't have Matchmaking (Raids). I paid the same as everyone else did for this game, yet because I am busy sometimes and can't easily co-ordinate a Raid I am basically restricted from them... Weekly Nightfall Strikes fall in the same category also. In a game that relies so heavily on P2P interactions, all modes need a matchmaking... especially those that require 6 people to be online for it. I have heard "Oh it won't work because it's hard or confusing." Most people have heard of YouTube or Twitch and know how to do whatever it is they're doing before they do it. For those that try it fresh, they either get booted, not invited at all or learn on the fly like a matchmade team. I do agree the DLC is expensive as hell ($20 I hear for 2 more Light Levels and a Strike basically,maybe a couple story missions). I started to wonder about supporting Destiny further myself after seeing that price... no DLC should be 1/3 of the game in price (espeically pre-planned) without at least 1/3 of the content boost... I can almost guarantee those 2 light levels can only be once again gained through a co-ordinated 6 player raid too as to make it feel like it takes longer.

The game is planned to last 10 years, you think they are going to be able to create a 10 year game off the money they made from the initial release? lol. DLC's are a way of keeping the game around, if you don't want the DLC, don't get the DLC!!!! lolol If you dont want to play the game because of lack of content! don't play the game! lol!!!!!!

5 RepliesI agree in alot of ways after going through the hype of the game 2 years before actual launch date, and then seeing how much more Destiny has to offer, if only Bungie/Activision would put the effort towards it.. I may not be a game designer, and I do love Destiny, I'd give it a solid 5/5 had you delivered on so much content.. As of right now, I'll go ahead and rate the game 3/5 and even with BOTH expansions, it doesn't move up from that number. I for one recommend, for a game that you consider a "MMORPGFPS" Where is the support for gathering groups of player's/voice chat/matchmaking? For them few reasons alone, I again drop not the actual gameplay itself, but the entirety of the project from a 3/5 to a 2/5. Now I'm going to of course buy the expansions out of curiosity, and because I do support Bungie, and have since the release Halo: Combat Evolved. Whilst hoping that my money wasn't merely spent for the sake of a rich mans pocket, but due to the fact that I think Bungie HAS Integrity, and thus should be shown. That is all... Thank you for your patience...

My only problem with destiny is the loot they spend so much time patching auto rifles and shotgun and the loot cave but don't give any loot as gamers on a loot based game I think we will always find ways to farm it's what gamers do we find things within the game to better ourselves and the community on this game we farmed cause the loot was broken they said they patched it to a degree yes over all its still not what it should be my crypt level is like 34 since the patch iv had nothing but blue enagrames from him when he ranks up i just think bungie need to take on board what we say on the forum not as complaints and hate but listen to us and take better action so that forum stay empty

It's that simple. Stop thinking you are entitled to a game that you think you deserve. DLC is the wave of the future. It's not going to change. Move on, save your breath and find a new game to play.

TL:DR, I get the just if what you're saying though. I am going to take a brake from destiny for a month, then I'll see if the games been fixed at all.
