Why are xbone players mad?
Pretty sure Xbox players got COD DLC before Sony players did...

6 RepliesIt's not the same as Xbox users getting Call of Duty content first as they have for years. With Call of Duty, the message was always clear that if you chose to buy it on Xbox, you would get DLC first (and only by months at most). PlayStation users were made just as aware of this as everyone else, and so everyone had the opportunity to make an INFORMED decision. With Destiny, Xbox users were not told from the beginning that we would be receiving less content in the DLC than PS users. Many of us bought the season pass on release day or shortly after, or spent extra money on the Ghost or Limited editions, with the season pass included. Now we find out that our non refundable expansion passes are inferior to the PS versions. We are getting less content for the same amount of money. That is why Xbox users are mad.

1 ReplyOkay, let's take CoD for example. PS users have to wait a month to get the exact same DLC as Xbox. With Destiny, Xbox users have to pay the exact same amount for a DLC and get less content for a very long time. That would be like PS users paying for the CoD DLC and only getting 4 maps instead of 5 even though they paid just as much as Xbox users. It's a very shady deal which makes me sad cuz I really like Bungie (though that love is fading).

Noone is even going to play Destiny when the Pack comes out. I'll be moving to Advanced Warfare when it comes out. I really can't be asked playing Destiny even though its a good game. I'm not paying the same price for less content NO WAY.

1 ReplyWhat most people here are failing to recognize is that Bungie is just the developer for Destiny. Activision is the publisher, the one who put the money up for development of the game. Npw I am npt sure about this part, but they probably own the Destiny IP (intellectual property). Activision is the one who decides what console gets what content, not Bungie. Considering that Activision is a business first and foremost, they care about the money. Sony obviously thought Destiny would be a big enough deal to warant them cutting a fat check to Activision for the rights to a timed content exclusive. So stop the hate for Bungie on this one guys. It is just a matter of business.

I'm an Xbox One owner and I'm not mad. Couldn't care less to be honest. Looking forward to the DLC even without the PS exclusive extras.

actually the marketing for destiny was sneaky. All the ads said 'Exclusive Content' for the playstation version, they never said FULLY what was exclusive at the start. not the devs fault people don't really think on things before complaining on not getting things

Honestly i could care less, at least my xbox live connects to the game unlike your crap ass PSN and yes i own both ps3 and xbox 360. What bothers me are the ignorant morons who make post like this just to mock the other console user. this ps vs xbox needs to stop they both play games they both offer something different shut up and play the damn game and stop comparing and slinging your damn epeen around.

1) We got CoD DLC a month before it was released for PS players, not a whole year. 2) We both paid the same price for the same content and got that same content. Whereas with Destiny, PS players and Xbox players are paying the same price but Xbox players are getting the content that they paid for already a whole year after it was purchased. 3) Let's be honest, it's CoD, it's not the same game it was 4 years ago.

As an Xbox player I'm not mad. Sony put up a lot of money in advertisement. Of course they get some perks. This just means next year I'll have new content. I can deal.

15 RepliesMaybe because they're finding out Xbone wasn't the better choice. If they only put two and two together about the NSA and Bill Gate's connection to the government, maybe a facial recognizing camera that can be tapped into at any time wouldn't have been so appealing. But they're Xbox people. They don't care about real information, they care about what's popular.
