Pretty sure Xbox players got COD DLC before Sony players did...

Who plays CoD? Like many of the people here have already stated its because PS players have Exclusive content Xbox players can't get for another 6-8 months and now a PAID DLC, is going to have EVEN MORE PS Exclusive content? DLC we purchased but its a big FK you if you own an Xbox.....

Edited by CraigWCK: 10/30/2014 6:54:59 PMYeah, a month before you did, not a year. Also, many of us do not play call of duty, so that makes no difference for us. Disclaimer: I do not care about the exclusive strike mission.
-
Pretty sure PS4 players got it a month, and not a year later.
-
Probably won't miss much, the current exclusive strike is just bullet sponging psions, this one will probably be bullet sponging thraws.
-
its called entitlement

Not all Xbox players like COD though... Also I like how Activision is playing both sides. COD stuff for Xbox and Destiny stuff for PlayStation. They really don't care about either side they just want the money. I can't wait for Bungie to leave Activision when they try forcing them to make more games after the 10 year plan. I'll be gone long before that time though.

6 RepliesEdited by MerryChristmas: 10/30/2014 4:05:50 PMXbox players got new CoD content before us Playstation players, but we at least got it the following month. A 1 year wait for Xbox for new Destiny content? That pretty damn ridiculous. I like the idea of us Playstation people getting new content first, but why should the Xbox players have to wait so long?? The Xbox people have the right to be angry and complain because I know I would be doing the same thing if I were on the other end. I'm not betraying my fellow Playstation people, but seriously, Xbox shouldn't have a wait that long.
-
I don't play CoD nor have I played Halo. Still I'm not mad, just disappointed. I'll still play just bummed that by the time I have access to the goodies from the first exclusives, they'll likely be obsolete unless Bungie scales older gear up. I'd love to get my hands on a Hawkmoon.
-
I'm sure there are many other posts like this, a month is a lot shorter than a year. And yes I understand PS has the as exclusives. But a year really. Even a Playstation fanboy that a year waiting for more content sucks.
-
Month and year.. Big difference there sport
-
7 RepliesThe dlc is already paid for and we get less for it. It's like in a sandwich shop where you get a sandwich, and the guy next to you gets a sandwich and a bj for the same price.
-
Because Everytime I put a lead on my Xbox he just sits there.
-
I'm not even mad though lol
-
pay the same for less u can close the thread now
-
Two reasons, 1) we pay the same amount but receive 1 less strike 2) we won't get the rest until 1 year from now. The difference with most arguments out there about cod and tomb raider and all that, is that you get the same things everyone else got once the content becomes available, which is not the case in destiny. You don't pay $15 for a cod dlc, and get 2 maps that month and another 2 6 months later, instead of 4 that xbox players get on one dlc, ps players still get all content. Also, you can't compare one month to one year.
-
Cod dlc is only a month, Destiny content is an entire year. I imagine that very few people will hang around for it. As much as I like this game I probably won't even last till November 11.
-
4 RepliesI think it is pretty funny. I've never such entitlement, as I've seen in "gamers." Publishers, Devs., and whomever else, don't owe you anything. If you don't like Bungie's practices, don't support them with your wallet. Kicking and screaming won't change the hard, cold(and funny), reality that you're still going to have to wait a year for the content. I was a diehard Xbox fan until that whole DRM, always online nonsense. How anyone could support MS after that whole debacle has me scratching my head, more than this so-called outrage over missing content.
-
Not every XB player plays COD. So PS users comparing it to COD games makes no difference. If I pay $5 for 5 apples and the guy next to me gets 6 apples for $5, I'm going to wonder why he got an extra apple.
-
Because Xbox players have to wait an entire year before we get the content. I'm sure the cod DLC doesn't have a year exclusive lock on it.
-
Who cares about cod
-
4 Repliesit is all about the timeline ...
-
Edited by Ty'rone Shoe'lace: 10/30/2014 1:03:23 PMYeah, but it's only a month not a year. If it was the same as cod I wouldn't be pissed. Also by the time we get these strikes there will be no point in doing them because they will be so low of level. Only way I'd see the content is through a playlist.
-
A month before which is nothing, 12 months isn't a timed exclusive though since Strikes are early game content and we'll have no use for them in a year.
-
Getting full content on a later date is diff than paying same price and getting less content.
-
2 RepliesCall of Duty is nothing to brag about... and it's completely irrelevant. The problem is Xbox players are paying the same price for this DLC, but PlayStation users are getting more content in the same DLC. Not to mention, Bungie said a while back (before the game came out) that the Expansion content would release for EVERYONE at the same time.
-
The COD map packs just come out a few weeks sooner on the xbox at the same price! But a full year and we'll have to pay for them again!! It's messed up!!
