During the Atheon Battle, how many people from your party was teleported

Post Patch, the fire team I was with have completed the Vault of Glass twice. That does not mean bugs are not there. They were most certainly there. First bug to start with would be the still prevalent Gate Bug. During the Gate Keeper Boss fight before Atheon the team needs to get the two shields. Every time I went through the second gate with the first shield to help obtain the second, I was still in the main room not teleported but just on the other side of the gate. This is highly unwanted and needs to be fixed ASAP. The second problem is with the patch to Atheon with the Random Number Generator or RNG for short. Bungie as much as this was desired by no one in the community and only desired from you, you failed to realize the potential problems this could unfold. During the two times we completed the VoG, Atheon at times only sent in one person. Yes ONLY ONE GUY to kill the oracles and have the shield. The second time completing it, Aethon only sent in TWO PEOPLE. It seems the RNG is set to pick a number. A number allowing only that many people to be teleported. So Overall the RNG is not working as intended if it only sent in a guy or two and we still have bugs for the gates. My feedback for this is to undo the patch from an honest standpoint. If the RNG is set to pick a random number, say between 1-6 and it picked 2, only two people would be teleported for the remainder of the battle with Aethon. I'm not sure if anyone else is having this problem but please lok into it.

  • The gate bug happens when two or more people run through at once. If you go single file it never happens. Just leave a bit of space.

    • Also I have only noticed fewer people being teleported when there are deaths in the party. I think if you die before the time stream but after you get picked you won't go. On normal and hard this never happened unless people were dead.

    • You have to remember that of the 6 people you can designate a rank chart, 1/2/3 and prioritize the shield that way. 4 has a 5% chance of getting ported...5/6 never have to touch the shield. Realistically with a little planning ahead, the patch changes nothing. That being said, I do agree that the # of people getting ported right now is wonky. Wish they would have fixed the bugs before making the other's worse via a needless mechanical change but, it is what it is.
