Heathcliffs special was his defense was inpenetrable, I think it was called divine shield or something like that. And you are semi correct about the beater title, kirito took it on so that all the beta testers wouldn't get the short end of the stick from all the other players. Remember he said that he made it further than any other beta tester and that one guy with the crazy hair was like " that's worse then a cheater! He is a beater!!" Or something like that then kiritos like yeah that I like the sound of that lol. And I think kirito went a bit over board with the alo dude, although I'd do the same thing some guy try that Shit with my old lady |:. Honestly I think GGO was better than the first season by a long shot, it allowed us to connect with the main characters alot better than SAO. It was alot more suspenful as well, although it left us on alot of cliffhangers, ugh how I despised the cliffhangers. It even gave us more of what happened in SAO, that they just skipped in the first season. I'm hoping they finish off this season with a bang, this last episode got me all excited for this next fight, and maybe we can see an all out war for alfheim in the coming episodes if the eschatology does happen.
