What the hell is up with the Raid?
For the last 3 weeks I have done the raid got all the drops and received nothing but ascendants and chatterwhites, I have 200+ hours of game time, I beat the raid two times last night on normal and hard, got nothing for it but ascendants... oh and a chatterwhite.. and what really makes me mad is I walked a guy through it for his first time last night and he got 3 pieces of raid armor? So this guy has 80 hours of game time is going to be level 30 and I'm stuck at 29 with over 200 hours of game time! What the hell Bungie?

This is a major issue. I like the idea of raid marks which means that you could get lucky and get drops sooner but if you complete the raid enough you will definitely get your gear. Otherwise you end up with players who like you through bad rng never get it. Don't get me wrong the only way to get raid gear should be repeatedly completing the raid. What raid marks and a vendor would do is make sure there was a back stop in which a player like you would know there was a point where you would get the gear.

I agree. Upon completion you should recieve a token that while being in your inventory increases your chsnce of getting a piece of gear by 33%. Everytime you get a piece all tokens would be comsumed. Pretty easy. You would have a guaranteed piece at least every third time. It's a shame that there are hundreds of fairly easy ways that could fix the game suggested by the community and not a single one of them being adressed or a single way they could come up with by themselves.

1 ReplyJust done this week run...again, only ascedants...not even that titan mark that used to drop from the gorgons left chest. Its my 11th run and I only got 2 leg armors. I'm running a second Titan to try and get better chances at raid...still the same. Today we had a lvl 28 in who was running it for the third time...he received a chest and arms, allowing him to reach 30... I'm not feeling motivated anymore to keep raiding at all...

If I was guaranteed at least 1 piece of raid armor per run i'd take it - but throwing 5 items (2 exotics, a raid helm, shards and a speeder) at 1 player whilst the other gets shards, energy and a -blam!-ing shat-terwhite is complete bullshit.

And yes I've seen other people with less gametime get everything that they want, it royally sucks but bungie is clueless on handling loot I think.

I got a level 29 Titan, level 29 warclock, and a level 28 hunter( it could be 29 if I spend those shards). Guess why They are all 29? I have multiple arms, chests, helmets, but no boots, not a single one on any of my three characters! This is some real horseshit.

I agree. I think they should at least take the shard and energy out of the boss loot tables. Leave the loot chests for the shards and have the bosses drop loot. Still random but at least you get something you can use. And then after we have what we want, we can just get shards by dismantling doubles.

I know exactly how you feel man, everyone around me is getting rewards I just get acendent materials... ive done the raid 4 times now :|
