Error Code Monkey
I was doing the weekly heroic strike when I got kicked off. Installed update & rebooted. Tried again 3 TIMES! Each time getting booted off w/ same error code. This is getting out of hand.

Seriously disappointed in Bungie, I have not been able to get more than an hour or so of playtime since I purchased this game. constant kicks due to Monkey,Centipede and Hawk, as well as Zebra and Jackrabbit. Not to mention that it occasionally disconnects me from x-box live for no reason, without any error code. I have tried all of your port forwarding recomendations and at one point even disabled my firewall completely to be sure nothing was holding me back. I have a friend who is a networking specialist for a bank verify everything was correctly done. Still doesn't work. It is so bad that at the game store I manage I have stopped trying to sell destiny, and even begun talking people out of it. So that they don't come back upset from the sheer disappointment you are currently providing. some form of recompence should be given to your players. When Rockstar had issues with their servers for GTA-V, 500,000 was given to players to ease their disappointment. You should consider a similar avenue because I see your game getting turned in weekly for trade with the promise of never buying from Bungie again.

sam28171726 Xbox one Reset your router and unplug your Xbox. This should solve the problem. It worked for me.

I had error code monkey last night and it stopped me from doing the raid with my friends, it was so annoying i tried fixing the connection i was kicked and joined the game again and again ultimately i gave up. Its a very bad error.

I just started a new thread about this before seeing this one. I got kicked about 15 times in a 2-3 hour period last night. Members of my Fire team were experiencing the same thing, all due to error code monkey. It makes game play frustratingly impossible and needs a hot fix immediately.

I got kicked out 4 times in an hour. I hard restarted (hold down the power button until it turns off instead of just tapping it) and it stopped glitching me out.

1 ReplyHallo bungie team. Ich habe den monkey und weasel fehler alle 5-10 Minuten. So ist euer Spiel unspielbar. Ich hoffe es gibt wirklich eine Entschädigung. Ich hab nicht wenig bezahlt für das Spiel und würde gerne wieder gut von ihm sprechen, was bei dem ganzen Ärger und Frust das es bei euch diese Probleme gibt nicht passieren wird. Eher das Gegenteil. Also tut was für das viele viele Geld das ihr schon verdient habt und überlegt euch wie ihr die tausende von Spielern entschädigen könnt.

I got weasel today as well while in crucible. Kicked me all the way out to the damn start screen. Wth is going on?? Please fix this already it's annoying. You will fix it once you start losing money I bet.

I'm not having problems with the Monkey error anymore. whatever happened, seemed to be resolved in 15 minutes. at least for me. been playing for the last 3 hours with no problems.

Edited by Cruzelion: 10/29/2014 2:49:00 AMTry to shut the xbox off and wait a while. Then turn it back on. It may potentially fix the problem. It seems to have possibly worked for mine. Might be an issue of registering info, kind of like when you need to restart a computer after an update for it to function properly. Worth a shot.

I'm getting kicked every 5-10 minuets no matter what I'm playing (patrol, strikes, crucible...). Every time its error code Monkey.

In the last 20 min I have gotten monkey, beaver, eel, and chicken. I want the money back I paid for this glitchy a$$ game.

This really sucks, the game is unplayable...I cannot do anything without getting kicked off because of the Monkey Error. Extremly disappointed. Definately weak Bungie.

This is out of hand I can't even play I even tried waiting a couple hours and nothing changed as soon as I got back on not even ten minutes the damn monkey comes back out
