Once you hit level 30.... The Truth about LATE GAME

[u]Raid : [/u]3 times a week, RNG reward from A to D, Bungie keep on making it harder ... god knows why. No one will do a Raid that will take 1+ hours for 1 part for a shitty and RNG reward. By the way, stop comparing this shit to a WoW Raid, clearly you never played WoW.
[u]Nightfall Strike :[/u] 3 times a week, no matchmaking ... god knows why. Extremely easy due to the Damage Modifier. Reward again ... RNG, you might have a shitty legendary weapon or a nice exotic.
[u]Weekly Heroic Strike [/u]: 9 Strange Coin.No matchmaking ... god knows why. This is for Casual Scrub Gamers so they can catch up on pros, I got 85 Strange Coins at the moment ... ima buy a bomb and blow Cryptarch Hobo Shop.
[u]Bounties :[/u] Change it for CHORES. And the only way to level up an Exotic weapon because HOLY CRAP THEY TAKE FOR EVER TO LEVEL UP EVEN WITH A BOOSTER
[u]Exotic Bounties :[/u] Grindy , boring and shoving PvP or PvE in your throat
[u]Events: [/u] Iron Banner and Queen ...... woop woop, it is the same thing with Crucible and that shitty Story

[b]TL;DR[/b] There is nothing to do when you hit level 30. Destiny's end-game content will 'blow players' minds'. Destiny: The Endgame is Only the Beginning. [b]COOL STORY BRO ![/b] 6 hours a day at launch, now it's about 2 hours a day !

Seems like I'm only one chest piece away from becoming dumb. What you don't get is that caps are not in place that the so called scrubs can catch up with the so called pros. It is from keeping the so called pros from burning through the "content" too fast. For the most part I agree. Towards the end this game becomes more and more of a pure grindfest with more than enough of the grinding being for stuff that you no longer need. But that's a flaw in game design not the fault of players that have a life beside Destiny. So get over yourself please. So called progamers should go and seek out an e-sports-title and freak out there. Destiny is solely meant to be fun. If it would have been build with e-sports in mind they would have used a netcode that didn't allow killtrading more than half the time. You really have a lot of valid points in this list. Points that really need attention. But what concerns me you all ruin it with your blinded master-race-attitude.

19 RepliesI've hit 30 and gearing up for hard mode raid. For me Destiny is about the challenge of its endgame so I fully support them making it harder an harder. It seems you have been playing the game for rewards instead enjoying is challenging content. It's a common theme I see on the forums people just want all the gear/guns and that seems to be there goal.

The story stopped at 16 or 17 (I don't remember what level I needed to be to run Black Garden on hard, but that was the end of everything). Basically 40% of the game is just repeating old content. WoW, on the other hand, rutinely maxes out your level before you get to the 2nd to last zone of each expansion if you feel like completing all the quests. The lack of story in this game makes trying to do everything a pointless task. You don't need all the missions on a planet to move on. There's no extra lore uncovered by finishing them. You can get exp by playing PvP. In the end, there's maybe 6 or 7 actual missions to play to unlock the raid. No story value. I'm so beat on this game.

Bungies' vain attempt to create progression from reputation and weapon level ups only delayed what people are fast realizing: this game is two dimensional. To me, this game is nothing more than a prettier-looking version of Duck Hunt. I'm at peace with shelling out $60 for that but you better believe DLC won't see my money.

I'm still having lots of fun playing destiny with my friends but other than levelling up a different class, I don't know if there's going to be enough to keep me playing until December dlc.

Been at thirty for over a week now, made another class for something to do. There are no more real rewards for my main. The once mighty weapons that took some hard work to get have been nerfed so badly I just moved back to my Suros. I sign on now to help friends, or play a bit on my alt. The raid that my team beat on hard seems useless now, since we have the weapons and armor.....that everyone else has because of a cheese port into the last checkpoint and push, return to normal and get the rest of the gear..... Now thousands are 30 and raided out with little effort. Unless they come up with a new hard mode loot table that gives us something to work for, and possibly pre gears us for the expansion as far as perks are concerned, it's not likely we will play. Not because we don't enjoy the game, because the rewards have no bearing on the effort.

Edited by Krungel: 10/28/2014 7:54:53 PMPlasteel plating is for titans. its like sapphire wire for hunters and hadronic essense for warlocks. plus green/blue engrams will give you these materials along with weapon parts. also i hate pvp but my luck in this gane is shit so the factions have quite a bit of use to me. ive had to work hard to rank up with the rp then earn those crucible marks and put up with playing pvp. Do you really expect to get everything easy? But the NPC's are useless. or a lot of them are. once you get passed level 10. which is pretty dumb.

The caps are in place because there is no content. Very little content. You would be done, DONE with this game. I mean over, no more, nothing. You finished it all. Got all the exotics, everything. It has nothing to do with casual players. Blame Bungie. They blew it big time. I play somewhere in the 2-4 hours a day. More on weekends. I think the content sucks. I'm bored. I wondered how the players that play more then me cope with lame content. You blame casuals? Blame Bungie. It's their game. " they make the games, they like to play" Is that the right quote?
