I had a bad night last night and to top things off, I did the raid on hard twice and only got the ship, twice. So this morning, my hubby woke me up with a present. (See the image) I loved it! Then I got to thinking... Are we TOO nerdy? Is there such thing?
Also, I have a question about raid check points. If I have a Atheon check point today, will it reset to the beginning on Tuesday?

No such thing as too nerdy. If only my gf had next gen

You play video games, why are you stereotyping yourself as a nerd? Only cool kids play video games.

Edited by Truthiness_Inc: 10/26/2014 6:34:53 AMWhat is "too nerdy"? This is a concept I have never considered...
-
No. Yes.
-
I think it's adorable.
Are we TOO nerdy? Is there such thing?
Nope, there isn't. Anything is fine as long as you enjoy it, never care about what other people think, lol. Have fun. I was going to say, marry him, but you already did, good choice ;) Hope you live happily ever after.
I'm a graphic artist, but love computer modding. Haven't found a better half who enjoys talking about the latest video card or CPU yet.
That's a matter of opinion so I say no, who cares if they are "nerdy", if they are happy together what is the problem?
-
Why would you give your gf a shitty overnerfed weapon? shows how much you love her lol get rid of crap from your vault as a present
-
Awesome. Nope, can't be too nerdy. Especially when you're nerding it up with your loved ones. My wife and I are pretty nerdy, too. We have two Xbox Ones and play Destiny together.
-
That's adorable! It reminds me of when I got a local artist to draw a pikachu on an envelope with a handwritten letter I sent to my boyfriend. (He's a big pokemon fan.) Theres nothing wrong with a bit of nerdiness when its expressed in such positive ways. Only when its the nerd fights, arrogance, and snobbery often encountered at my D&D table is it really annoying. :p

Too nerdy? NO. SUCH. THING.

Edited by Totsugeki: 10/25/2014 11:59:28 PMtoo nerdy would be like roleplaying while intimate... "Alright honey, I'll be a the guardian, and you be the cryptarch. "
the cryptarch f**ks ppl

sorry if that joke was out of line
Congrats on finding your soulmate.

Too nerdy is not a problem. I play destiny and my girl plays Sims 4. Just have fun.

When I went to ComicCon a couple years back I got my fiancé and I matching Portal shirts. We want to do a Portal themed wedding with Atlas and P-Body as the cake topper. We play all kinds of games together all the time. So there's definitely no such thing as too nerdy!
-
Hey, there is no such thing as too nerdy... well maybe, But that doesn't classify as too nerdy. Too nerdy is like... trading pints of blood for magic the gathering cards. That is actually really cool, and really sweet... and you are lucky to have one another. Together.. and besties too. Match made for life and beyond.

My boyfriend and I have both ps4 and tvs right next to one another. Love the game!

Edited by GalvatronAlpha7: 10/26/2014 5:13:50 AMHey, at least you two can be "too nerdy" together, forever. I dated a chick who couldn't stand the sight of video games. That relationship did not last. It's terrible when you the nerdy guy and the other is like "OMG, you're playing that game again!" As she turns on the television *rolls eyes* Though my wife is a bit of a nerd in her own right as well as I. Well, not too nerdy, but we don't care. I can be playing Destiny and she's playing her games, while watching Star Wars. Thread just reminded me of how much I love her. I can be a goofball, being all excited about a video game, and she just smiles and listens. It's so great! And yes it resets. If you notice, during the "reset period", the skull and sword symbol will be gone but returns later.

I'd live to do something like that for my GF BUT she's a -blam!- so I won't bother
-
Ya'll too cute.
-
It's a blessing. A lot of partners can't and/or wont join in. My fiancee doesn't game and doesn't understand my fascination with it, she's quite tolerant of it but it has still been know to cause some friction between us.

False. To surrender one's mythoclast is to surrender one's privilege to live
