Dear Bungie,
a moment ago I bought an exotic engram from Xur. I think this was the worst decision I made for a long time. By decoding the engram it turns out that it actually was an exotic gauntlet, but – surprise – not for my class. I mean as a hunter I always dreamed of a gauntlet for a titan. How stupid from me to think I get something useful from an engram I paid for.
Excuse me for these sarcastic chant, but when I buy an exotic engram for 23 (!) motes of light, it should be a matter of course to get an item for my class. By playing Destiny I invest very much of my personal free time. Collecting motes of light is hard work. I think all gamers will agree by saying it would be fine to be rewarded for that.
When I collect engrams in the game I NEVER got an item that was not for my class. This was the absolutely first time I got an item that was from an other class. To repeat: When I collect engrams in the game it is 100% safe that I get something for my class, but when I buy an exotic (!) engram for 23 (!) motes of light, I have to worry about that?
So this leads me to one question: What’s the sense of this, Bungie?
I think all gamers who love this game (like me) agree that this should be patched very soon. This is one of the most frustrating fails I have ever seen in a game.
