Sorry for my ignorance before hand because I haven't gotten deep in to the whole chest raid thing.
But is there a reason as to why everyone thinks there are 7 chests? Wouldn't there being 5 make the most sense because of the fact each planet has 5 gold chests?
If there is a reason there is exactly 7 please inform me. I'd love to know :)

Not to be a detractor but I'm with you, there doesn't seem to be any real reason for their to be 7 chests... And to everyone that says 'Bungie likes to use 7's' I can give you plenty more examples of them NOT using the number 7 as you can of them using the number 7 (to those of you playing at home this is known as conformation bias) That said I really do HOPE that there are more hidden chests, I just don't see any evidence for it.

I'm surprised there haven't been a surplus of '7' easter eggs all over Destiny. Besides the coins in the Tower and the 7 on the side of the Suros.
