So it's safe to assume almost everyone is using suros or a auto rifle.
I refuse to be one of the players that's trying to get easy kills with an overpowered gun. Sad part is if you look of the stats of the people who defend exotic auto rifles they are the ones using them. On top of that there's a reason they make up the majority of PvP.
Don't worry your precious AR won't get nerfed because everyone would get upset and even they won't admit it would probably stop playing PvP. Now there are a few people who don't resort to using an exotic AR and I say keep fighting the good fight.
Shoutouts to xur for giving everyone a suros and now there is no need to use any other gun because when leveled up it kills almost instantly with the least skill involved to do so. Destiny was already a AR fest but now with the release is suros that's all you see now.
Go ahead tell me other weapons are more powerful or that AR's aren't OP while you choose to use a AR. Then make other lame excuses but the real fact of the matter is most players gravitate towards the strongest weapon or easiest way to win.
By the way you do know we can see everyones stats right so if your saying you don't use an AR for the most part youll be exposed frauds.
Better yet Bungie should just patch out the rest of the primary guns in the next update because according to almost everyone's stats on here the majority of you get more kills with the AR then any other primary weapon.
You guys can't argue that shit end of thread.

Almost EVERYONE defending exotic auto rifles in this topic mains them in crucible. You do know we can see your profile. The majority of you use auto rifles so you guys are just proving my point for me. Just look at your profiles you claim hand cannons are the best yet you use auto rifles lmao.

I primarily use scout and sniper. Never got a suros because I'm slow with the coin accumulation. I want one, but I want a funky exotic scout more than anything. Been a scout guy from the start, even though they weren't as powerful. I'm sure if I got a bitchin ar I would be using it more though.

Hand Cannons are a better choice for PvP now that auto's only have a 1.25 headshot damage multiplier. Anyone using an auto rifle is gimping themselves in the damage output department.

1 ReplyI use Thorn and Hardlight combo, but I don't play much PVP anymore. Already ran into toolbags using Aim Bots and other modders, so nope. I'll stick to Patrol and Story mode. Still plenty of fun for me!

Since the hot fix I've used nothing but the vision of confluence. My average k/d is a 2.4 or something and I don't use a fusion rifle. Nuff said

So I bought the suros and tried it for a bit. Once I got the first upgrade I lost interest for PVP. Fires way to slow. I honestly like hard light(with the stability upgrade) better. Puts massive amounts of bullets down rage with decent impact fur the speed. So I gave it to my alt. For me, it's all about the last word. I'll still use hard light on some smaller maps, and I use my scout on the biggest, but the last word is my go to. And seriously AR are fine now. Great from close range, not great from long range. The suros being the opposite. It's almost an automatic scout rifle it fires so slow(minus the damage). It's great from long range, not so great from close. And funny story, I found a blue gun with damn near the same stats as suros, and the same mod that increases damage and slow rate of fire.

2 RepliesI honestly don't believe Auto Rifles are overpowered. Maybe the Suros Regime, only because Bungie hinted towards another nerf, though I personally don't see a problem with it. I think that, in reality, most people just use them because that's what they're used to in previous games. And I think that because of it, it tends to seem overpowered since everyone uses one. I mean, if a majority of players use it, it's going to seem overpowered. I actually think it would be odd if someone hasn't thought that at least a couple of times. I mean, who wouldn't question the balance of a game if all you were killed by was an Auto Rifle, even though it could just simply be because people are used to them a bit more? Just my own personal thoughts.

I proudly use the ar, have almost the entire game. I also enjoy the hand cannon at times, I just finished the thorn bounty. What a pain in the ass. I am glad to have the suros, it's a sweet gun. I would like to have atheon a epilogue but will enjoy using my suros until that day comes. I understand that the ar, especially this one, can be over powered. I'm not a big pvp fan so in terms of raiding and strikes, he'll yeah I want a bad ass powerful gun, and thank you xur for hooking it up.

I actually do better when using pulse or scout rifles, but they're so damn boring. I switch back to auto rifles every time.

Lord High Fixer, Thorn, and The Last Word are the only primary weapons on my Warlock. I think my Titan has Bad JuJu, but i barely even use him. Lol

Suros is overrated, it's not as good as people make it out to be. It never wins a 1 on 1 fight with my last word hand cannon.
