they have for a while now (bungie) made mistakes left and right on their games. it started imo with halo 3 matchmaking. map selection, weapon "balancing" and etc. continued through the abortion they called odst (their half ass attempt at making a quick buck while working on reach). then reach came out and it was a little better in some ways.. but the matchmaking was still a sham... horrible map selection.. spending 800-1400 "points" just for 3 new maps and nothing further.. bungie has always been about lining their pockets and shafting the average joe. halo reach came out and sure.. they retooled a few things.. but once again - they narfed up the gameplay. bungie has been doing this for years now. i HOPED it was just microsoft's involvement screwing up their projects.. but now.. as destiny has nothing to do with microsoft.. that clearly.. microsoft involvement was never the issue... it clearly was bungie's involvement all along. so yes, they used their brand name and past history to slip destiny into the mix.. screw us all for another 60+ bucks. and like sheep - we take it. i swore i'd never touch another bungie game after Reach.. and when i played the destiny beta - i took the bait.. hook, line, and sinker.. can honestly say.. if bungie doesn't get off their dead profiteering asses and do something w/ this thing before new years - i'll happily sell the game and swear off bungie games forever & go back to borderlands games and re-embrace an actual loot system.
