OMG $35.00????!!!!????? For content that if had been released from the start would now be boring!!!!
Ordering steakout for two $35.00
Buying 2 movies $45.00 (Blu ray)
Going to the theater for 2 + snacks $40.00
Half a tank of gas $40.00
Buying milk bread and protein $50.00
Order PPV $60.00
For those of you without the funds to buy the dlc i recommend the below options
Work for temp service for 1 day
Cut two yards or rake leaves or shovel snow
Clean some old persons house
Put down the redbull and takeout for a few days
Quit spending your money on porn
Sell plasma/semen or eggs for women (or carry someone's baby for them) haha i would love to hear - i want to carry your baby so I can buy destiny dlc

Edit 7: this game is a series! How mad do you get every week when walking dead ends and they went nowhere with the story? All media is this way know and most has been for awhile... Star Wars, lotr, matrix, resident evil etc etc etc get used to it

I think your kind of missing the point, Destiny for a lot of people is a pretty underwhelming game. The AI/gunplay is awesome but there is jus so much around it that failed miserably that those mechanics don't hold it up for everyone. Destiny is a game that for what ever reason lost its way during development. The SP completely lacked creativity, the story... well there isn't anything to comment on since its non existent. Theres no meat to the game. Everyone keeps saying this is a beginning. Compare the original halo, whether or not it was planned to be a series doesn't matter, halo stands on its own as a great game. There's a story there that completely focuses on the single halo. Destiny has a story too, but it doesn't have the same focus. The traveler is being drained or something and you have to stop it. But almost everything is completely out of context with out any real supporting information why your killing all these races or finding specific things. For $35 I could take a gamble and extend a game that generally wasn't fun to play through 80% of the campaign or I could spend my money on alien isoliation, borderlands, evil within, sunset overdrive, bloodborne, Halo MCC, Middle earth. I'll revisit destiny when the reviews come back from the dlc and they turn it into something amazing. As it stands, though, I think destiny just needs to be remade from the ground up except for the AI/gunplay.

Currently i am a bit bored with the endless grind for materials and PvP is all i have left which to tell the truth feels a bit stale now. For 35$ in 2 months from now i can buy Evil Within or Wolfenstein brand new! 35$ on DESTINY for a few PvP maps, PvE missions (with out epic Cutscenes) and a new Raid is not what i call value. Im not saying that i wont buy it ill just wait for community reviews before i make my decision. I hope season pass will be DINKLEBOT defence mode free!!!

I can't speak for everyone, but I really don't think it's price alone. It's the game as a whole - right now, content relative to what Bungie suggested is slim, even though there's a lot of repetitive grinding involved. If the add-on doubled the base price of the game, but added enough dynamic stuff to do to overcome how grinding can become dull, that'd be worth it. Two strikes and an hour or so of story doesn't do enough to match the 'do it again' mechanics with the amount of stuff actually offered up to do. Also, keep in mind a lot of the fans here are going to be students without a huge amount of disposable income.
