This is bullshit (Xur selling same armor, but with better stats)
New one has 131 discipline

Bungie should remove such things from game or add indicators of some sort. Like they did for low level weapons and armors (e.g. model 1.01, model 1.02).

I've noticed that anything that you can buy is better rolled when "earned" by some other means of playing or ranking up a faction.

It's all random. I got a comedian with 2 range buffs and full auto from an engram the other day. It rocks. Granted, engrams usually just give me crap.
