To my fellow Titans: is the Armamentarium worth it?
Lvl 25 Titan with zero exotic armor pieces.
Just wondering if the Armamentarium is worth coins. Opinions?

It's a neutral armor piece, meaning it favors neither subclass. So there is that to consider. However I still think it is very good although my Titan is a striker and my other exotic pieces are defender items. Still the boosted ammo and extra grenade work wonders.

Absolutely! The discipline stat roll is really nice. Plus! Two grenades, man! It is a *must buy* for titans! Very subclass neutral as well. good for any situation.

The armamentarium is great because I of its versatility. You get two grenades! And you can use it for both subclasses. I'm leveling mine up as well but I mostly collect exotic armor just to have it. I also have all 3 Titan exotic helms so I swap them out depending on what I'm doing and what subclass I'm using which gives me great versatility. For you since you don't have any pieces the armamentarium is a great choice since its flexible. I mean seriously 2 -blam!-ing grenades is peer slick.

That feel when you start up Crucible, stick a guy for first blood, stick a second guy for second blood, and proceed to clear up the rest of the softened enemies with a few bursts from your Monte Carlo... absolutely delicious. Without a high discipline / grenade regeneration build though you're not going to hit the double grenade mark most of the time in PvP or PvE if you find yourself using your grenade regularly, though I still feel there's a ton of utility in having your second grenade start to recharge if you need to sit on your first.

How could you hesitate ? more grenades ? more special ammo ? more Heavy ammo ? ... need to say more... it's a beast for strikes and it's Rambo mode in Crucible especially in control... 2 grenade on a flag... yup... buy... NOW.!!!

I got it last week from Xur! Leveled it up and really like it! The extra grenade is a massive perk in my opinion. But I will buy it again this week and break down last weeks because the discipline is a lot higher this week. Thats my $.02

I use it to raid with because the ability to Carry more ammo. Plus in pvp you get roughly an extra clip of heavy machine ammo or two extra rockets. So the potential for more kills with heavy weapons are a big bonus.

I prefer either Helm of Saint-14 or Helm of Inmost Light. I play striker and the extra perks on HoIL are super fun.

1 ReplyYes. Best pvp exotic for Titans imo. Especially if you play control. I haven't been able to find a Skullfort yet, but i doubt it will replace my Armementarium. I use Armementarium for pvp and Crest of the Alpha Lupi for pve.
