Any idea how the light advancement system works?
I have been lv28 now for a few weeks. I only have two more upgrades for my boots then all my armor is maxed. I have a Exotic Helmet Maxed,Legendary gloves and chest maxed and legendary boots two armor upgrades from Maxed.. So by gaining 4 points of light will i go from 28 straight to 30? As for my weapons all legendary one Exotic..all maxed as well. Though I know they have no impact on lv progress.. Am I missing something to hit lv 30?

You need raid gear in order to reach 30. You can only get to 29 with an exotic and legendary gear. Raid gear gives you the same amount of light as exotics so they will get you to 30, otherwise it is not possible to get to 30 without raid gear/ exotics.
