Please STOP THE POSTS THAT TELL YOU TO COMMIT SUICIDE!
Seriously, THIS is an issue that I am -blam!-ing fed up with. It's considered a crime in most states, and it should be a felony. It's nothing short of cyber bullying in the worst way. Bungie, MODS, where are ya'll? I have seen too many "kill yourself" threads and statements. This shit needs to be dealt with hard and fast! Guys, get on it please! Some folks take that kind of trash to heart, you know? I've dealt with suicide, and I'll tell ya right now this kind of thing hurts even ME to see.

It's quite disgusting how many people on here just say "Toughen up" I wonder how many of those teens that killed themselves were told that. Just man up or turn the other cheek. You don't know what people go through every day. Maybe they come here to catch a laugh or converse with people they identify with. Maybe it's the one place they think they won't get told to "just die" or "kill yourself". Not everyone takes bullying and turns it into motivation. Some people just aren't mentally or emotionally strong enough for it.

So I'm gonna necro this thread. I agree with the negativity. If you're that depressed and need a place to vent, get off the internet. Go somewhere where there's not over 2,000 people trolling. If you actually were affected by indirect cyber bullying, then you are too young to be on the internet anyway. Now if Stacy posts about how fat you look and that you'd be better off ending yourself, and all of your mutual friends see it and say the same thing, that's DIRECT cyber bullying. That's not good. But someone like me saying, "kill yourself" on the internet as a total stranger, and you taking it seriously, you need to grow the -blam!- up.

The problems you deal with in your day to day life cannot hold a candle to the mother who just lost her child to a shelling or the father who just killed someone else's son to keep himself alive. This is a GAME. It's a product meant to be consumed and enjoyed to escape reality for a bit. I get sick of hearing about Cyberbullying. It shows just how thin the skin of our society has grown. The next time you let something on an Internet forum crawl into your psyche and bother you, remember, someone is currently being violated somewhere on earth. Someone is being blown up in their home. Someone is fighting the hardest fight of their life. This is not serious. Nothing you do on a game will ever bring to you tangible, real world ANYTHING. Count yourself lucky.

Kind of want to know how many people here are in the military with all the talk of hardening and natural selection. Either way, philosophically speaking, Albert Camus held that the right thing to do existentially would be for everyone to end themselves in a way of their choosing since we all eventually die. He later went on to say that the true philosophical hero is the one who knows this but will live life to its fullest simply to counter what is inevitable. Anyone thinking of putting their toe in a trigger should look to this as the best way to say ______ you to life.

Lol I think it's ridiculous that anyone would consider suicide, or even commit suicide just by simply me telling you to commit suicide. I think they need more willpower. And if that's the concern, how about parents get more involved. Also put a birthdate or age limit. That should eliminate kids from interacting with adults anyways. Most of you don't allow your kids to speak to strangers, so how is forums any different? How about a push for responsible parenting :)

It's better if you stay offline and don't type to anyone. We live in a reality where this happens to anyone and unfortunately there is nothing we can do to convey the other person behind that screen to do anything because we don't know them.
